Lately, I have been eating a lot of seaweed (Sushi seaweed) And have been told that the iodine in the seaweed activates your pineal gland. Now I don't know if that is true~ But I have noticed a rapid increase of experiences of late. It started with touching objects and (Non-intentionally) receiving flashes of where that object has been. For example I was eating a store bought pie the other day and accidentally bit into them metal container, and I had these flashes of being on a conveyer belt and then some middle age man picking up the box and (Rather wildly) shaking the box causing part of the box colouring to be scraped away. I went and checked, part of the box HAD been scraped away, but then again I could've seen the scrape and simple made up an unconscious story to fill in the gap. Which I think is quite plausible, but I don't know.
Also, I was I a church, joining my boyfriend for the day (I had never attended church and was merely curious to how the Sunday mass was conducted) And they have a large cross with a gilded Jesus Christ sitting near the foyer, I approached the figure and touched the foot, - and received pretty much what I think was part of its life story, -
It had been made, discarded by a bigger church because it wasn't perfect (You could see join lines in the wood or something?) An older lady collected the discarded figure and took it home where it stayed happily for a good 20+ year until the women passed away. It was sold in a estate auction and a young religious couple bought it, they moved shortly after and gifted it to a nearby church, this church had the figure gilded and fixed, so it hung as the centrepiece of the church for a good 5+ years, until a fire claimed part of the building and they disbanded. The (Now gilded) figure was kept by one of the altar boys; who is now a pastor of this current church, where it now resides.
When I approached the pastor about figure and asked about the first church, he gave me an odd look and asked me where I had heard that as he had never told anyone about the figures history, or the fact that he started out as an altar boy.
I explained, and he asked me to keep it to myself as some people wouldn't be as open minded as himself. But he confirmed that what I had said actually did happen, and that I was correct. It seems like he's taken quite an interest in that ability...
So, how can I continue to receive this information? Would it be wise to stay away from religion with psychic stuff?
How can I grow it further?

Awesome you are getting one of the mentioned psychic gifts on the major list of gifts... You can shift your focus though, if you want to help others like those who have been kidnapped, lost a pet, or a important item, etc... By touching articles of clothing and such to connect to their energy, just shift your focus on the future beyond where the object was last on the person and see if you can pick up on any distress, then work from there.
And for me also, I have a unique gift only one on the planet as far as I know, neat. When I told one of my pastors at church about it, he simply laughed it off in a not serious wondering coo-coo sort of way. But that just means he's not understanding how many multitudes of billions of experiences our humankind can have and for that reason, I rely more on my own spiritual practices, read my bible daily, and always practice the mantra of 'no harm to none'. You will find those to connect with in your lifetime, just as many are here on this website... I use discernment on what I mention to others.
And thanks for the heads up of sushi seaweed, glad to hear what it does for you, I will give a try at it... For me some l-tryptophan tablets and melatonin and lots of veggies.
