Strange Voices and Shadows

First of all I know now that I am an empath (that is one ability I am sure of) but lately ever since I came to realize that I have abilities and ever since I began to embrace them, I have been hearing voices. (No I am not crazy) I mean literally like in my left ear the other day I was sitting down at my laptop and I heard these two voices in my left ear of little girls? Or something. I don't know. All I do know is that I was extremely terrified and that as soon as I got scared they went away.

I did not understand the few things they did say in the first place. Right after that I began writing a poem. As if I was inspired. (I am a very artistic person and I love to draw and write poetry and stories) unfortunately I do not remember the poem because I typed it up and forgot to save it but it used a lot of words like "we" and "you".

Also, yesterday I heard dogs barking outside and this happened two days in a row. I asked my sister (who shares a room with me if she heard anything but she said she didn't). I don't know what is happening. Does anyone know how to explain this? Before I used to hear voices calling my name and I used to think they were my family but when I asked anyone if they called me they would look at me strangely and tell me no they did not.

Another thing is there is this corner in my room that me and my sister do not like to look at in the dark. I always "imagined" something being there and our minds play tricks on us with regards to it in the night. Sometimes I also feel cold air on my ear and I don't know where it comes from. I also see shadows from the corners of my eyes but when I look at them they are gone.

I don't know what is going on especially with the voices and the dog barking thing. Any ideas?

There are about 72 known psi/psychic abilities. The one where people hear voices is called "clairaudience."
The difference between this being a psi gift and something like schizophrenia is that clairaudient voices tell a person useful information where schizophrenic voices can be mean, they "talk" all the time without saying anything useful, and they tell a person to do things that a person wouldn't normally want to do.

i would be in my room and I hear my mum yelling my name,"jessica" loud in my ear or I hear it coming from the loungeroom. I open my door and yell out to mum "what", shes watching tv in the lounge room or reading and says " ey, I didn't say anything, you are hearing things" I always just shrug it off. Thinking I'm nuts and go back to wateva I was doing.
Ive just realized it does only happen when I live at mums.hmmm. Years ago wen I was younger I dabbled in spells and ouija board a few times in my bedroom.
Sometimes wen I'm sitting in the loungeroom, in the corner of my eye I see a black hooded thing in the hall way but wen I turn my head its gone, I thought it was just me until my nan mentioned it out of the blue and I was shocked.
My nans a medium of some sort, she contacts her passed away sisters and does tarot cards, shes told me heaps of things that have happened to her and our family. My mums abit sceptical thou, even thou if she saw a ghost she probably wouldn't care and walk past,lol.
Ive also had a somewat real nightmare. Its a long story but after the dream I woke up screaming and saw a ugly hairy man's head smirking at me. It was kind of outlined and transparent in white, if that makes sense. I have seen this face before wen I 'looked in the mirror in the dark with a candle at midnight thing'

I'm sure that the voices you are hearing and shadows you see are the spirits trying to contact you. There is no need to be scared of them. You have a wonderful gift and it's a natural thing because we all have psychic abilities to a certain degree. They are more developed in some people than others. Try communicating with them, ask them what they want, because surely they are trying to give you some sort of a message. If you do that, they may give you more clues about what they want from you. I have an Eath-bound spirit in my house which is trying to tell me something but because Earth-bound spirits are lower than the ones who have crossed over to the spirit realm, they also have lower ways of communicating with living souls. There maybe an Earth-bound spirit in your house too. You need to be patient and sooner or later you will find out exactly what they want.

Also, recently I was in the bathroom and heard footsteps outside the door, I thought it was someone in my family but when I asked them they said that they had all been watching t.v. In our living room. It was the first time this happened. Is it because my skills are developing?

Same thing happens with me. The shadows... And the voices. I don't understand those either. The voices are normally at night, and the shadows... Those are all the time. If you find anything out tell me please!

Maybe there's a spirit following you. But beware, they can mimic other's voices and sounds.
I think of it as "being haunted".

thanks for your comments. Its just that hearing voices in my ear freaked me out. It was a first for me to hear more than one at the same time. 😲

I hear voices too. So does my Mom. Just this morning I heard someone speak my name, but that wa steh first time I heard any spirit say my name, the spirits are usually talking to each other. It can be freaky and scary at times. Especially this morning. I was little scared.

I hear my name being called all the time. I always stop and look and when no one is there I fiqure it is my spirit guides and I continue on my way. My youngest son does this as well. He will ask me if I said anything and no I didn't. Then he will rub his left ear and tell me someone said something to him. I think he is having a difficult time understanding exactly what is being said. The last time he told me it sounded like, "What the heck" (literally).

I hear voices as well spirit voices and hear people walking round and I look and no one is there usually its me hearing people walking up the stairs or just in my parents room or the landing when I look no one is there. I had a lady scream down my ear once but couldn't see her anywhere. I've heard a few voices and felt them touching me but there the one's I can see. Once or twice a month I hear voices downstairs about 4-6 spirits talking really fast to one another. My sister hears them as well and she thinks there robbers but once my parents ran downstairs and no one was there but she heard voices so I think she has the ability as well to hear voices. Dogs bark at anything or little noises we can't hear they have good ears compared to us. Also I have seen loads in the dark that when it gets spooky for me cause my alarm goes off my itself and last night I heard a bang and something switched of my alarm but the switch and turned it on and it wasn't me. That cold air on your ear could be just a draft. I have had something breathing on me proper loud and touching me that how I knew it was a spirit.
