In Turkey we drink coffee and with the shapes in the coffee cup we tell the person their fortune; what has happened or is going to happen.
So one day for fun my friends drank coffee and I looked at their fortune. We are not close friends, I know them because we are in the same class and I had time to kill. So anyway, I had everything correct. Like down to the first initial of her crush's name and which religion he belongs to. They were all shocked and they started telling everyone that I am a very good fortuneteller. Everyone heard about this and people I didn't even know the name of started asking me can I look at their coffee cup, so I did because it is fun.
(As you can see this coffee fortune thing is a huge deal in Turkey, some people even earn a living from it.)
It started getting weirder when I knew personal stuff about people I didn't know and what I have noticed I don't really look at the coffee cup when I am telling them their future or what has happened. I just look at them and just know what has happened to them or is going to happen to them.
Most of what I have said has come true too. The weird thing is I really don't look at the shapes in the coffee cup, I just look at the person and like have a feeling.
After I look at people's "Fortunes" I get really tired, like my energy is sucked out of me.
One night when I was with my friend and her friends (I don't know them) after looking at their fortunes I suddenly felt really tired. I could hardly keep my eyes open after 5 people and I had to leave early.
I really wonder how I can know stuff about people I don't know.

I do try to protect myself a lot, because I am aware of the negative things that can get through to me when I am reading people. Like you do with the crystal balls, I do with the coffee cup, I just use it to concentrate I guess.
