On A Full Moon In October

One night, my younger Sister Haliegh and I decided to go out, but it wasn't to go out to drink or to party, it was to go to a local 130 year old cemetery close by to my sister suburb.

We used to do this as children and more now in our adulthood.

During the day we knew where the cemetery was but when it came to the night, we got lost somehow, we couldn't explain as to why though.

So driving down a lonely dirt road past 2 rds, on the right hand side, one was called Borrowdale and the other Houston, I thought that was immediately strange as my grandparents lived on Borrowdale street before they passed on, then Houston was where I was going to see my boyfriend next year in January.

Well we came to a turn at the end of the road, so I did a U-turn and headed back the way we came, half way I suddenly looked out the side of my driver window and a huge white owl hit my window then flew off, my heart stopped as I tried to catch my breath and focus on what just happened, that's then my car started to make this loud train sound inside the car, my sister and I were deafened by it, we couldn't hear each other over it, that went on for around 2kms, then instantly complete quietness, like it never happened, we looked at each other and stopped the car, we looked all over the car and under but nothing was wrong with the car. Was something telling me there was danger ahead if we went to the cemetery that night?

We have experienced many thing in our lives, but nothing ever close to that night, we have felt presence and my sister senses pain and anguish of others. What does this all mean?

hi nessyjane74,
What a freaky experience to have. I am glad the owl flew off okay, they are my favourite critters.

Have you googled anything to do with owls and white ones in particular? As you probably know that certain cultures have reverence and fear of owls and some believe they are a portend of some thing bad going to happen.

As with a lot of things in life I think it is important to listen to your intuition about anything. I think in that instance you made the right choice buy not going to the cemetery.

Anyhow, thanks for sharing your story and all the best and STAY AWAY from cemeteries at night.

😊
