Deja Vu From Past Dreams

This weekend my boyfriend and I were driving home from a movie at a theatre neither of us had ever been to. We actually had to map-quest directions to the theatre. We never had even been to the area of town before. I'm certain because we had only lived here in this city for a year or so.

The theatre was in this really nice shopping area. We were supposed to meet my friends there and he was just dropping me off because I didn't feel like driving back because it was late. The movie didn't start until 10:25. The movie was sold out. And I started driving home.

I had to feel my way through the shopping center to find the main road back to the freeway. We were on the access road about to get onto the freeway and from the access road you could see, along with other stores, this huge boat or outdoors-men store in big white letters and that's when I got a really strong deja vu right down to the same big boat that was sitting outside the store.

I felt like we had done the exact same thing before in the exact same place. I was driving and he was in the passenger seat. I had dreamed about it. It was months ago and I didn't remember it until we were driving and I looked over and saw the same exact stores that I had never seen before. Right down to the same lettering of the store names and sizes.

It was freaky but I've had millions of these before and now they are really starting to concern me. I just want to know if other people experience the same thing.

the same thing happened to me. I dreamed I was on the bus coming home from school and my friend Shelby turned around said "I have some bad news I'm moving" I didn't say anything back to her, I just sat there looking at her and at the time I didn't know I was even dreaming. I guess when I woke up I thought it had really happened that day, so I told my mom and sister the bad news and was sad my best friend was moving... Two weeks later I was on the bus coming home from school, Shelby turned around in the same light blue shirt and said, "I have some bad news I'm moving" I looked at her like she was crazy and said "you already told me that like two weeks ago" she then looked at ME like I was the crazy one, and said "No I didn't, I just found out yesterday!" It is a very weird thing to experience that's for sure.

These deja vu dream experiences are amazing if you ask me. I've had them since I was like 5 and back then they scared me a little because I was always afraid that one of my bad dreams would be one of these "deja vu dreams" Way back then when I was young there was also a period of time when I was like absolutly sure I was psychic and I was the only one this happened to. Lol the reason for that is, one of my ancestors "like great great great aunt" is a woman named Mayhayley Lancaster. She's a woman who helped solve a kind of famous murder crime because of so-called psychic abilities. A movie was even made about it, it's called "Murder in Coweta County" it's a old movie though, haha.
Anyway, yeah I eventually figured out many of my friends experience this to, and it's just crazy how often I experience it. The greatest ones I've had was one that happened about a year before the actual thing I dreamt about took place, and the other about 6 or 7 months. I'm just overall fascinated by this anomaly.

Weird? To me I thought everybody had Deja Vu all the time like I do. Is it a psychic ability or not? I don't know much about it but I think its pretty fun. I have had tons of experiances where my deja vu was related to a dream I have had earlier in the week. Thanks for sharing your story!

I've had something like that one or twice, but sometimes the dreams turn out to be more like warnings or heads-ups.

Thanks Artine. You have been a great help as well as everyone else that has commented. I am researching 3rd eye meditation to see if it will help me tap into it a little more. I will give you guys an update on the baby on Tuesday!

I just wanted to add that not only do we dream things that come true, but it is also a "carry over" memory from when we left Home on the other side. You see, we do map out every detail of our lives here on Earth before coming here-sometimes we remember glimples of things and it gives us that 'I've done his before" feeling. Spirit and body still re-connecting with one another if you will. Don't be afraid of these moments as it only demonstrates your ability to use your senses beyond your everyday dependacy. Hope this helps -Sue

I have recently started writing them down as well.

I think that if you meditate, they will not only become more important Precognitions, but you may start to have them everyday, or almost everyday. (Mine are everyday or almost everyday... But it advanced on it's own; I cannot figure out how to strengthen it, much like yourself as you described in your story.)

Which, by the way, are your Precognitions, like mine, Involuntary? Or can you "summon" them to you in your dreams (Voluntary)?

Again, I wish you luck on the baby! (You may want to meditate with that question, just a suggestion; it may be answered if you do.)

It calms me to know that other people have these dreams. I just wish I knew how to tap into it more so I could maybe remember my dreams before the event actually happens. I've started writing down my dreams in a note book but sometimes I totally forget them. I rarely rarely have nights where I don't dream at all. If you think about it, that's a lot of dreams I'm having. Who knows how many things I have dreamt about that has come true but I just forgot the dream. Now I just want to know how to become better at it. As of now they are just meaningless simple everyday things but who knows what I could possibly know if I tried harder.

I have experienced these Precognitive Visions myself since I was nine, and it spiked last year, and more than doubled the spike this year alone, I hope that I experience them everyday soon, although they do not scare me at all.

I am glad that you havwe discovered that you have this ability as well, it is a very useful and fun one, in my opinion at least.

They should be of no concern to you at all.

Brave4life, you are not alone! I have Deja Vu allll the time! It can be scary at times, or otherwise just freaky. But honestly it's nothing to worry about, this literally translates out to "already been there" in french.

Don't fret my dear, you're not alone!
