I had a dream last night of me wanting to go to Los Angeles to party one night. In the dream, my aunt warned me not to go. She said she had been told by a friend of hers that there was an earthquake going to hit Southern California. I asked her if this was for real. She said YES, it was real, very real and that this was going to happen. Almost to the point of it being inevitable. In my dream, she was lying in bed with her boys, who are grown. The boys are in their 20s. Lying there like they were all anticipating this major disaster - spending their last moments together. My aunt and I were discussing the earthquake in the dream, particularly it hitting Los Angeles, CA or Temecula, CA. I remember specifically discussing/trying to figure out which it would be. There were 2 dates that were mentioned in the dream: Wednesday July 9, 2008 or Friday July 11, 2008.
For whatever reason, Temecula, CA and Wednesday July 9, 2008 are jumping out at me.
I've never had any dream like this before, not sure why it's happening now...
As a side note, my uncle and her daughter were not involved in the dream at all. There were not at home when she was lying in bed with her boys, anticipating the earthquake.
Did anyone else out there get the same premonition?

I just registered here because I had a very disturbing dream in January of 2008 related to the same subject, bothered enough to just now search for any relative premonitions on the internet. I'm not sure if it was meant to warn about the earthquake, but I fear there is more action about to happen in California.
I was on my way to california in my car with someone who I could not identify in my dream. Along the way my car just quit on me in between the long stretch of highway on the way to Los Angeles. No gas station in sight I decided to walk across to the nearest town with the person who came with me down to California. Before the car died on me I had heard an announcement over the radio of a pending disaster about to strike the coast of California.
Then my dream switched from my first person view and zoomed into the city into which I was currently walking towards to the televisions in some bars. There was a important news break playing on every local channel.
What was playing on the news was a story about a military nuclear submarine north of Point Loma, Southwest Los Angeles coastal region that apparently was having a problem with it's nuclear reactor. They were advising an evacuation and warning to all residents in San Diego all the way up to Los Angeles in preparation for the pending disaster.
Then the view went back to me in first person with the certain unid'd person who was with me.
Long story short I ended up getting into town and learning about the pending nuclear explosion then I remember worrying because my parents were down there for some kind of reunion... In Los Angeles.
The end of the dream the nuke went off and then I saw an arial view of the coast of california and the dust from the blast rolling up the coast.
Now what has me worried...
Dream: I had no idea why I dreamt of me going down to California as my car is currently unregistered and I would not have been able to drive it.
Present: Within the past few weeks I've been in the process of getting my car ready and able to drive
Dream: My parents were down in California for a reunion.
Present: My step-mom has a class reunion in California coming up in which they are going to.
Dream: The unid'd person with me on the way to California.
Present: Within the past month I met this person, they work with me.
Dream: Me being down in California.
Present: There is a recent job opportunity in Phoenix, AZ in which I have offered to take. Driving down to Phoenix would involve me following the west coast and going through California.
I really hope this dream was about the quake and/or is meaningless. It's becoming really eerie for me.
