I was on my computer doing some work at my dining room table while my 4 year old sat on the couch in the living watching cartoons on TV. I happen to nod off. You know how you jump up when you realize that you fell asleep? Well. that's what I did and at the same time my printer which is way across the living room zaps on by itself and then zaps off! When I say zap on and off I mean zzzz zzzzz sound printers make. By the way the printer was unplugged! It happen before with the VCR in my bedroom.

A friend of my told me it have something to do with me being clairvoyant/empath, but I would like to know more of what's going on in my unconscious mind.

I want to know why the surge of energy comes when I nodded off instead of when I am a wake. Sometimes light blow out when I walk in certain rooms of my house. Or even when I turn on the light the light bulb comes on then blows out. It only happens once in a while.

I know I am an empath because I studied a lot about it and so many strange things I can't explain happens to me.

Sometimes when I am around people I can feel what they are feeling, their anger and sadness and fear drives me nuts. So I choose not to be around people.

But if someone can help me that would be great!

Looks like you are experiencing Kundalini energy symptom.

Read about Kundalini energy. There are some support groups. Do a search on it.

The printer thing could be a coincidence, but it is still possible... I'm an empath too, and if you've read any of my other somments on stories, you'd know I have a lot of other abilities. I get random surges of energy that feel like they run through me all of the time, sometimes the lights flicker or something else happens when I do that. The strangest thing that ever happened while that happened, was while I was racing electric go-karts at some indoor place. The entire set-up of go-karts were completely electric and run by a computer that controlled all of the karts and the track. In the middle of the race, everyone's kart stopped. I focused my energy on getting the kart to go again. Then, I felt the surge run through my entire body and my kart started going, (a lot faster than it did before) while everyone else's wouldn't work! All of the workers there were absolutely dumbfounded by it and started looking at me kind of wierd and asking how could her's be running. Lol. I just thought I'd share that with you. Good luck on learning how to control your gifts!

But it wasn't a dream. My 4 year saw it happen too. And he was definitely confused.

Im a bit of a sceptic. I think that the printer thing could have been a dream... Plus you probably have a very high emotional intelligence (like me apparently) so it can be draining being around some kinds of people.
But I want to believe it wasn't that, and I know strange things happen, otherwise I wouldn't be here on this site!
Maybe if it wasn't a dream could it be to do with any deal of stress you were going through at the time? Because when people are under stress strange things can happen...

I understand how you feel. I'm just trying to look into this empath thing myself I feel it may very well describe myself, and we seem to have some similar experiences. With electrical things allthough I have never had something turn on that wasn't plugged in. I also used to choose not to be around people myself but as I have gotten older I'm 22 now I have started being around people again I'm not a huge fan of being alone. I go out but if I have to I'll walk of so that I can get back into a tolerable level hopefully it gets bettor with age. It's very draining and I get tired all the time at a bar after the night I am so out of it from everything I may as well be drunk even though I never drink. It's almost like having low blood sugar but often times I feel like that my blood sugar is fine but is very similar I wonder if its from being so drained.
