Real Psychic Experiences

Touched By A Dog Angel

It was in July of this year (2008) that I was sleeping in a guest room (purportedly active with psychic activity) at a turn of the century Bed and Breakfast rooming house in Juneau, Alaska.

Suddenly, I felt something like a cat or dog jump on the bed. I looked around the bed and saw nothing, but really did not pay much attention to it as there were dogs and cats on the premises. Then I felt a strange unearthly sensation as something entered my body. It was "electric". For a brief few seconds I felt a totally overpowering buzzing energy and exhilarating sensation comparable to a hallucinogenic drug but much more intense. It encompassed all of my known senses. I felt strangely apprehensive, euphoric, and joyous at the same time.

I realized this was something significant and had never experienced anything even approaching the spiritual before. Then almost as quickly as it started, it jumped out, up and away from me like a playful puppy.

I know this was real and not something imagined or dreamed. The sensation was too overpowering to have not been real. I now attribute it to a pet dog of ours, Sherlock, that had recently and sadly been put to sleep in my absence. I truly believe he was saying goodbye to me and wanted me to know this life is temporal and a new one awaits.

YVE - had a strange experience yesterday. The hubby had a fender bender and got a ticket, but if he or his representative went to court, it might get reduced. Was a silly thing and no big deal. So I went for him yesterday morning. Never been there. I took a book in case the wait was long. But it felt a little intimidating to me, so knew that I had to be "watchful and protective." It just was weird. Like nothing could hurt me in a way. And I went to the middle of a row near the middle to blend in, wore really simple stuff, but still. After waiting 15 minutes, the judge stopped and apologized for the wait. He said the process was to speak first to the police officer and he couldn't help us unless it couldn't be worked out at that stage. He was looking right at me during this whole long explanation and apologizing. I thought it was my imagination and made eye contact with his clerk who started chuckling. Soon after, our police officer met briefly with me, a few seconds, lowered the ticket some because he really hadn't done anything wrong, it was just an accident, and I left. But I felt the wall in that place. I felt like, or knew, nothing there could touch me. It was just really weird. There were a couple of other odd things, but this is already too long.

YVE - thanks for the post. I've never understood the backing down thing, but it's annoyed me more than once so am grateful for your explanation.

Glenda- Its not odd that bad people back down. I call them "dark souls". They exist to agitate and cause doubt, fear, pain and chaos. We all know people who fit the bill.

Its a good vs. Evil thing. The bad/dark ones will try us, but if you stand up to them, most of them will back off. Once they know you can't be fooled, they will move on to agitate someone else. There are repelled by truth and light. They seem to avoid those who know their true colors. I read somewhere that its like holding a mirror up to them. They can't stand that.

yes YVE - I have imagined it. I'm not sure it's fair; bad people were someone's children and I'm a softy a lot. Locking people up is not my idea of great. But, I can imagine a group together. It's like a new thing. I tend to be a questioner, a hunter. My preacher joked in church about being aggressive. My husband told me I was, and I was very, very shocked. I feel mellow. I've been told that I was. But, I am a questioner and a hunter. I've been confronted by bad people. They backed down. That is a little odd. Not lately. I'm resting. But most would probably argue that. For me, I'm goofing and resting.

Glenda... If I am ever allowed to develop my abilities to a level where I could volunteer to find missing children or help the police solve cold cases, I would do it without a second thought. Seriously.

I don't know why (maybe there are) local psychics don't get together as a group to help the police pro bono. There's got to be at least 5 psychics in every county in this country who could put their egos aside to benefit society without the need for public recognition. Our egos truly get in the way. I'll stop this thought before I go off on some tangent...

Can you imagine the number of evil people we could put in jail so that they can't hurt anyone else? I guess I should be careful what I ask for. 😊

YVE and sky - sometimes I wonder, a lot really, if we reach things based on what we expect. I want peaceful, helping, higher, and find it. Once, curious, I looked for scary and found a scary thing. That thought lends me to putting it in the imaginary, higher brain function category, but then if you experience something that happens on the news in a day or a week, that tells me it cannot be purely imagination. And if it happens repeatedly, then you give up marking it down to imagination which is a little traumatic in ways. So, I always ask for something that will teach and is on a higher level. Going to a crime scene would creep me out and maybe make me angry. I especially dislike anger.

People feel a variety of sensations when they have contact with spirits and/or ghosts.

Some get headaches, some get chills, some feel an electrical buzz (because after all, a spirit is pure energy).

I'm glad you were able to connect with your dog one last time.

Peace & blessings. 😊
