Ever since I was young I've believed in the paranormal.
I don't really know where they came from but as I grew up I came up with certain beliefs and practices that I later found were most likely coincidentally the same as some practices other more, I'll say mystical things.
When I was in middle school I started to sort of pray to the Mother Goddess, though at the time I was mostly unaware of the details of modern Wicca, and during that time I remember having moments where I would have a sudden thought that something would happen such as a person dropping a glass in Science or such.
I wanted to take it seriously of course since I've always wanted an experience like this but I've always been a rational person so I've mostly dismissed most things or my "silly" practices as just coincidence.
For instance, I have an evil eye from turkey (gifts from my aunt who traveled a lot) and I have placed one on each wall of my room and one four sided one from the fan. I have never had a bad dream or nightmare, falling dream, chasing dream etc. They are supposed to ward away bad spirits.
Recently my views have drastically changed.
One of my best friends told me that they were able to see auras. Of course I was skeptical at first. But I opened up to her about my paranormal beliefs involving things I'd always considered strange such as drawing energy from things around me (not humans, I tend to like metal) though not worked metal. (I know that sounds weird) and stuff like that. She seemed shocked that I had made up stuff that was apparently the same as stuff she had read and sort of practiced.
Well she is very sensitive about this issue. Apparently I'm one of three people in the world she's told. She refuses to answer most questions about it. And there is more she won't tell me based on her morals and not wanting to mess with things.
So today we were hanging out and I started to talk about that stuff, and as usual she got really defensive wanting me to drop it. But apparently I give her headaches and my aura is really strange and like stabs people or something. She helps people by filtering their bad energy. She's sick for a week or two a lot. Apparently filtering kills her immune system.
But we were talking about it and I wanted her to explain why I gave her a headache. She got pissed off at me but eventually she said I was being followed by a spirit. Naturally I asked if I was in danger. She was already pissed and refused to answer.
This was today. I'm not sure what to do. I tried to do some tarot readings but I refuse to allow the spirit a chance to contact me openly, or as in opening myself. I refuse, just in case.
The tarot readings were largely non-conclusive though they were consistent in saying the spirit had some long working endeavor. That was it though.
So basically, I want to know if I can learn more about this spirit and its existence/intentions without putting myself in harms way.
I don't want to press it with my friend and I don't know who to ask so I'm trying this... Help please:)
