I'm really interested in getting to the bottom of these random experiences that I encounter frequently. I don't even know what to call them because I'm unsure of what they are. Basically, what happens to me is that when I'm kind of spaced out or just let my mind wander, sometimes someone I haven't heard from or have seen in a LONG time will pop into my head for no apparent reason. If I don't dwell on it too much, within a day or two (sometimes even minutes) I will either see that person, they'll call, or make some sort of contact with me.
It is the strangest thing. At first, I thought it was merely a coincidence since me and my mother always does that to each other. Sometimes I'll think of her, try to call her and get a busy signal because she's actually calling me at the same time (happens a lot).
Most of the time, I'll know who's calling before I check the caller ID, even if I don't recognize the number.
The first few times it happened I thought it was amusing, but now I know it isn't a coincidence, there's no way this can happen to me so often.
If anyone has similar experiences, or knows what it is, please let me know. My friends are beginning to think I'm a little nutty.
