Gatorbait's Story

This story is about my son. It took 9 1/2 years for my husband and I to be on the same wavelength. I wanted a child and he didn't. The first time I got pregnant, I had a miscarriage. I remember that day, it was February 14th. So, we kept trying. Finally, two weeks before Christmas, we were pregnant. I was about 3 months. Everyone was excited and we started planning.

My husband and I decided that we didn't want to know what the sex of the child was. So we went on preparing. I was about 4 1/2 months pregnant when I had this dream: I was sleeping in my bed and I was awakened by two angels. So I sat up and swung my feet around to sit on the side of the bed. One of the angels sat down beside me and the other was standing to the other side of me. The one who sat down handed me a bundle, it was wrapped in blue blankets. The blue, I will remember this to the day I die, was a light blue, and it glowed with an inner light. It was the same with the angels, their garments were also the same color of blue. Inside of the bundle of blankets, was my son. I held my son there on that cold winter night. The angels looked so kind and attentive. I remember being told that I was granted this special viewing of him and I would hold him again soon. And the whole time I cried.

I think that this was more than just a dream. Because of the simple fact, that I was aware of everything around me. I could see the entire bedroom as it was when I went to sleep.

Well anyway, I told my husband of what happened the next day. He said that was a good dream, and left it at that. I kept telling him that he was going to have a son. He kept telling me we'll see, and it didn't matter, as long as the baby was healthy.

Well, I had a pretty normal pregnancy. When it came time for him to come, I was sleeping on the couch. And of course, I was dreaming again. I was walking along with my husband and some friends along the levee around Tiger Stadium. I told them to wait up that I needed to rest. That's when I sat down and noticed that I was in labor. I told myself to wake up that I was in labor. I woke up and got up to go to the bathroom and my water broke. So I called my husband and he came and got me. Off to the hospital we went. At the hospital, I was being told that there were bets being laid on whether it was a boy or girl. I told them that I would take the bet, it's a boy. My husband was convinced that it was a girl. Well, time came for him to be born. He had to be taken by Emergency C-Section. When the doctor held him up and said, "It's a boy!", I looked at my husband and told him, "I told you so, but, you didn't listen."

I will have more on Gatorbait at a later time. Because I believe the abilities get passed on. Reason being, is that my father was blessed with abilities and he passed them on to me.

Well, both myself and my son are indigos. So we are connected in that aspect. And my husband still doesn't understands, he accepts it, but doesn't understand. So we have moved on from there.

Thanks for the comments.

That happened to me but its usaly when you don't use them or don't want them. Our children will always be psychic even if we keep these abiltys. Wovever has a blue soul has a child with a blue soul. (psychics have blue souls)

I agree with both LightningsHope and Albator. Always, always, always listen to your dreams. When my mother was pregnant with me, she had a dream in which her grandmother (my great grandmother that I'm named for) was holding me up (as an baby) showing her that she was having a girl. My father wanted a boy and of course didn't believe her; well, until nine months later that is. 😉

Always pay attention to dreams. Especially onese like these. People don't realize that while asleep the subconciousness is still awaken and doing things that we could not do on such a normal basis.

So like yours, you shoulda went to your husband and hit him and be like Listen I'm not crazy, wer ehaving a son. And to make up the hit just finfish with love ya

I love those dreams, they're so precious. Had one of my own in one of my stories posted here, although on a different subject. When my husband and I were trying to have a baby, and it finally worked, I immediately knew it had 'caught on' if I may say... I just knew, pretty much as of the next morning. I also immediately knew it was a girl, told my husband from the start. Finally, when I was still at the maternity, I would for some reason wake up at night and call for the nurses because I felt this urge to see my baby, each time this happened they wheeled her in saying they couldn't calm her down (I had had a c-section and she wasn't sleeping in the same room at night so that I could recover). There's definately a connection somewhere.
