Ever since I was around 4 or 5 years old, I've had two strange abilities that I really can't explain. One is that I can sense presences. I can feel someone coming to knock on the door even if I don't hear them. If someone is sneaking behind me I can feel their movement. I can also feel someone coming down the hall if I don't hear them. It's easier to feel the presence when they're moving rather than when they're standing still. It's not only humans I feel but also animals. If I'm in a room, I can feel my pets entering the room. It scares me sometimes when I feel someone coming but no one shows up. I think it may have something to do with electricity because it feels the same when the television turns off and the electricity just disappears. I've told several people about being able to feel presences, but no one knew what I was talking about.
The other ability of mine is that I can just tell if a person is good or bad. To clarify, I can feel if a person is kind or mean. I'm right every time, except for the people I just can't read. I just assume that those people have two sides to them. I can only feel if a person is good or bad when I first meet them. This happened with my best friend's sister that she didn't know about. She told me she found out she had a sister and met her, but she didn't tell me anything about her. Several days after that we ran into her when we were hanging out. She acted nice, but I just knew I didn't like her. I talked to her on Myspace several times and she was nice, but I still didn't like her. Then my friend told me about some cruel things her sister said about me. Now it's been several years and my friend's mom (she and her sister don't have the same mother, but the same father) hates her sister. My friend isn't even supposed to talk to her because she's a mean person. She doesn't even like her sister. Recently I was able to read a girl who came to talk to me during gym class. She wasn't being mean or anything, but I got a bad feeling from her. It turned out that one of my friends pointed her out and told me who she was. She was the person all of my friends told me about and how mean she was. There were some other times when I would talk to a person and knew they were good... And they were.
I'm just unsure what these abilities are. Is the ability to read people just intuition or something else? I'm have no idea at all what the ability to sense presences is, but if anyone knows, can you please tell me. I've been unsure about this for a long time.

Ultimately I think you have a more natural but unique ability in that you're very alert to your surroundings. Sensing good or bad in someone is a gift everyone shares but it may have more to do with body language and intuition then psychic abilities. As I said not trying to doubt just attempting to give you a different perspective.
As it may be if you do possess these unique abilities I might suggest law enforcement as a career;)
