Sorry about putting a second story on here! D; But I just wanted to talk about this. =)
Yesterday night, I wanted to try and see if my dormant abilities were still there (read "My Dormant Abilities").
I asked my mom if I could practice meditation with her help. I held her hand, and I tried to clear my mind (which is pretty hard). Twenty seconds in, I saw a beautiful forest. But it wasn't the creepy dark forests, it was like a shining paradise, I saw all the trees glow. It was very vivid for about 2 seconds? Any who, I asked my mom what did trees mean to her, and she said that she was a tree element (she doesn't talk about these things unless, I ask).
I'm just wondering, what is this ability? Because it amazes me that I could see an image so clear in my head.
Beside this experience, I also want to ask, I listen to RnB, Hip Hop, Pop music A LOT! But I also hear that it is very hard to meditate while listening to bass and booming beats music. However, when I meditate, I can't concentrate, because I ALWAYS have a song that I want to listen to, and if I can't I try to play it in my head. So I ALSO want to ask you guys if there is any good ways to meditate? I know there are more ways then one. I would LOVE to hear what each of you guys do to meditate. And I wonder... Is it possible to just relax to any kind of music and meditate at the same time?
