Premonitions of 2012

yep and for the people slaughter in Cambodia let me tell you it was the "end of the world" for them. So don't trivialize their visions. Trust me if what I see happens. Then the US will be destroyed the rest of the world will go on. But for the people here it will be the end of the world as they know it, but they will say "why didn't people warn us"

So say whatever but think about it first. Dismiss warnings at your own risk.

I am very scared of 2012. It seems that many of here have dreamed it.

I am really old now and I'm getting so very tired of predictions about the end of the world. Can you guys even guess how many such predictions I am old enough to have seen come and then go with nothing whatever happening? The truth about the world (as you will all discover as you get older and older) is that it is much much more mundane than all these lovely fanciful stories! You won't believe me I know, but you will remember this post when you are 47 and you will look back and say "Yep, he was right". And another thing from an old-timer! The 'end of the world' will not be one big huge explosion type event - it will be a slow drip drip decay by attrition... And yes, it has already started - it's just that it is a very very slow process. Rome did not collapse overnight. The end of the Roman Empire took several hundred years. Sorry to make such a sensational story seem so dull - but predictions like this are ten-a-penny.

i am so scared bout 2012 too. Now I want to hit the guy who predicted that. Without him, we could live normally. Plus think to yourself, "Can fire really shoot down from the sky?"

I my self believe that 2012 is not the end of the world, but something dramatic will happen that changes the world, not something bad but something good.

I had a very realistic and frightening dream several years ago that I was standing at a large window, looking out at the sky, and there was nothing but fire- like the sun was colliding with the earth. I could feel intense heat getting hotter and hotter... And then, I woke up.

Then years later, I was standing in a classroom (I was a sub at the time), and I had a vision just hit me all of a sudden. I almost fell over, and was speechless. The students were all freaked out at what had happened. I told them I wasn't exactly sure what it was, but that something dreadful was going to happen. They asked, "what, an earthquake?", they asked. "World War Three?", another asked. I just stood there speechless. I didn't know exactly what it was, but it seemed to be a tremendous collision- waaay off the Richter scale. It was like a big earthquake multiplied by ten thousand! I apologized for the interruption, and said I didn't mean to scare them, but I wasn't expecting such an experience to happen in the middle of class. They were fine with it, and even asked me if I was psychic. I didn't claim to be, but I have had strange glimpses of events, places and people often upon awakening in the morning. I have called them "Morning Visions", I will write about those visions next. But what they are, are 3-D holographic visions that sort of pan around the subject, be it a person, place or event, like a movie camera-from different angles. More about them later.

2012 seems to be such a famous little number these days. I have atleast one argument a day about this prediction. People in the world has made it such a big deal that us psychics and mediums have lost our balance. Its amazing what a simple soul in your life can tell you and makes you wonder. I'll admit, I have yet to have a dream about 2012, but for some reason, everytime I hear about how its the next apocolypse, I get a feeling its just a dud. I usually always go with my feeling, and my feeling says someting is going to happen, but it isn's a bad feeling, its a good feeling. Although LauraleeB, I would keep track of these dreams. Make sure not to over think them, because sometimes if you over think them, you start second guessing yourself, for example, not sure if it was 2012 or 2021. Write them down just like you did above, that way you can really analyze and understand what it is that you saw and how you feel about it, because it can be something totally different.

I recently had a dream about 2012 as well...
Well not exactly a dream but it was like someone was shouting at me "They will die at the age of 15". Only my friends will be 15 in 2012. I woke up really hot and sweaty and scared.

I'd like to think that 2012 awareness will enspire humanity to take a long look at what is happening to the earth by the hand of us. No matter what we are doing to make our lives easier, its draining the planet, its resources and the consequences can be clearly seen right now at this moment, worst winter conditions in years in the UK, earthquakes in Haiti, tsuanis out of the blue.

Whatever we think about what will happen we will never stop what Mother Nature has install for us and this is what we have to unite about and stop the wars and think more about living and taking the human race into another century as safely as possible...

Your dream could very well have been a sign of what is to happen on 2012, but not in the apocalyptic sense.

It is written in your story that you dreamed about a "more beautiful and cleaner" Earth. Many psychics believe that 2012 is *not* the Apocalypse, but the beginning of a new age that will lead to Earth's renewal. It's supposed to be an age of awareness and healing. So hopefully we can get our asses into gear and start remembering to put our recycling out in the mornings... 😉

The part of your dream where things quickly exploded into chaos could be your subconscious picking up on the thoughts/feelings of others who are *very* worried that the year 2012 will bring down all that fire and brimstone jazz.

I think something significant may happen on 2012 since so many people are talking about it. Maybe it's not the end of Earth, but the end of something on Earth. Maybe something wonderful will happen that will change the world so greatly that it almost will be as if we are on that better planet. I personally am looking forward to 2012. I am extremely curious to see whether it is something great, nothing at all, or even the end of the world.

I also remember Y2K. And then there was the minor panic whipped up about the 6th June 2006 (666). What the devil was that all about?

Seriously, I think Lauralee probably foresaw one of the many apocalyptical films that are bound to be released, then her mind, trying to make sense of her vision, transplanted the image onto familiar surroundings. That's happened to me a few times. For weeks I was terrified by a premonition that I would be beaten up by three men who jumped out of a car as it pulled up alongside me. Then I saw exactly that happening in a scene in a TV show. The scene was shot from the victim's point of view so that it seemed that I, as the viewer, was the victim.

We already have one silly 2012 film, don't we? I forget the title (lol). I'm waiting for "2012: The High School Musical", in which cute teens sing songs like, "What Does It matter If The World Is Burning If You Have Found True Love?" and "Your Perfect Smile Has Me In Raptures" (geddit?)

I think people who are able to make a first move before it ever happens should build many advanced modern day arcs like in times of noah that can shelter millions of people including animals of each pair. Like the one that ive'd watched on the movie 2012. Really amazing effects. 😊

Lauralee, I don't think the world is coming to an end. There are a lot of truly great people inhabiting planet Earth. A cleansing is perhaps in order, but humans are a resilient bunch, as are the flora & fauna of this planet. Along the same lines, viruses & bacteria seem to thrive here. Perhaps thier
Role here is as important as our own.
Just enjoy the time that you are granted here. Life itself is a gamble that we play everyday.
If you are old enough, you'll probably remember Y-2K. We all survived that. There were many doomsayers then as well.
I, myself am looking forward to 2012. If you fill your head (mind) with the notion that everything is going to descend into chaos, than there is that much more energy (negative) flooding the universe. As above, so is below.
Spend your life judiciously. Enjoy it. Life is an amazing gift!

Relax. The world will not end. I have had dreams/visions/premonitions about 2012 and on that day, I have seen spirit guides awaken their guidees. Nothing bad will happen. The Mayans celebrated that day.

Don't you also find it ironic that all the 'end of the world' days have all have a pattern to the numbers; 06/06/06, 01/01/01, 01/01/00, and the upcoming 2012 is 12/21/12.
On the twelveth month on the 21st of the year '12 the world is predicted to end. NOT TRUE! Don't you kind of find it ironic that on that date that it's the longest night of the year. The winter solstice.

Do not worry. It is just some random people making up dates that 'predict' the end of the world. If the world was going to end, why does the calendars exceed 2012, why are we not preparing, why hasn't the government said anything about it, why should we not worry about this when should?

2012 will change the world. It will not end on the longest night of the year. The world is most likely to end now, then, on that exact date. You can't put a date on things like the world ending and such.
