My Weird Dreams

There are two types of dreams I have. The first kind are regular life dreams where I dream myself doing an action or talking to a person. Then when I wake up and I forget about the dream until 2-4 weeks later when the dream comes true and I remember everything. The second type of dream I have are the nightmares. All the dreams I have are about natural disasters and they all generally have come true. I dreamt about tidal waves continually and then the Thailand tsunami hit. I dream a lot about tornadoes, but the weird thing is all the dreams about tornadoes occur at the same location, I always appear in the house that I used to live at and I always see the tornadoes coming towards me. All the dreams have my family in it. Usually 1 or 2 of them will die or get hurt. Last night I dreamt of a major blackout. I was in Manhattan and suddenly there was no electricity and we were locked in the city. Then I woke up after that I went right back to sleep and then I dreamt two more similar dreams about what me and my family was doing and then I dreamt of a tidal wave hitting us, but this was different because this time I felt the wave hit me and I saw myself drowning... Soo interpretations or help?

I too have many dreams of tornadoes, and have had them since I was very young. I believe they are symbolic for myself as well due to the fact that I have never personally experienced a tornado. The only thing I will say when I do have the tornado dreams is that within the next few days following the dream there is usually something that occurs in my life that is tumultuous, usually it is relationship related. Perhaps there are a lot of tulultuous events occurring in your life at this time that are provoking your dreams and this is your minds way of working things out for you and letting you know that you are going to be okay despite it all.

I have had dreams of running away from tornadoes ever since I was a kid and now I'm frightened of them even though I have never experienced one myself and they are not very common where I live (though this past summer the town beside me did have one but I didn't know until later).

These dreams always have me running away from a tornado and everytime I'm ok but that doesn't mean they get any easier when I dream them. I had one about a month ago. I believe mine are more symbolic though and with other recent revelations I will know to be more aware of my day to day happenings because of them.

I once dreamed that every major city was being invaded by aliens. The perspective of the dream was like I was watching from the outside.

In the first part of the dream, I saw a mother holding her child, both sitting on a floor in a room in an apartment. The apartment was shaking, and lights were flashing from the outside. Outside the apartment there were symbols made out of light flashing in the street, and the street was quaking as well.

When I woke up, my whole body was shaking - but this wasn't a seizure, it was more like I was shivering but without feeling cold.

Later that night there was a small rainstorm on campus - this was very unusual, because it never rains more than drizzle at the school I went to (in a desert).

I think this was an actual vision of the future, as I've never had such a vivid reaction from a dream, and when I dream it's usually only when I'm seeing something that happens in the future.

But then I've also seemed to stumble upon some kind of conspiracy that's beyond words, so I don't know what to believe anymore.

I don't think these are weird at all. I think many people are dreaming the same thing. However, there will always be tidal waves, earthquakes, tornadoes, even blackouts so our dreams will always 'come true', per se. The question is, is this going to happen to us personally and what should we do? We can't control what happens in nature, but we can certainly be prepared. I'm the queen of preparedness -- so much so that my family teases me about it. I have a huge organic garden (I have two and a half acres of land in Washington state), enough wood to burn for several years, canning supplies, water filtration system, a 12, 000 watt generator, a 500 gallon tank of propane, you name it! I also keep having dreams of an incoming asteroid so if this shakes down (no pun intended), I want to be as prepared as possible. Being prepared can't hurt but not being prepared can be disastrous.

Time will tell.
