Meditating Makes My Spirit Free

The first time I truly tried to meditate was just a few months ago, (I'm 15 now). The very first time I tried to meditate I couldn't sit still for more than 10 minutes; I don't think I was doing it right. Well when I looked up how to meditate I tried it, and well it was a weird experience. I read that you had to think about one thing in particular to enhance "powers". So I thought about me hovering over the vast oceans controlling them, and I was a bright white light. As I did this I had a television show called, "iCarly" on and I could hear ever little thing that went on, but the weird thing was I could see it too. Not like see it see it, I had my eyes closed. The inside on my eyelids were playing my little ocean scene. While some other part of me was watching the t.v. I not sure how to explain it. Though as all of this went on my body slowly was becoming non-responsive to my brain. I was barely breathing and my balance completely was turned off, so I fell over onto my floor. I could still see my room; see the guinea pig run around it's cage; still see my eyelid's ocean scene, and could still feel my body hit the ground.

It wasn't until 50 minutes later when my little sister came in and was shaking me to wake me up, but it wasn't working. Until she pulled my eyelids open did I spaz out and punch her that I woke up.

What does this mean? Or is the way all meditations are suppose to me? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, gentlecarrier

Very cool. I have no idea how to meditate but I'm going to try that way. It looks like you took complete control over the meditation.

I just looked up what you're suppose to do when you meditate and it said to just keep a moving image in head the whole time... That was all I did. I'm not completely sure how exactly I did this astral projection and I wasn't even trying, maybe that's the key. 😉

That's what I was going to say! Yeah... Astral projection. Congratulations.

So many on this site find themselves astral projecting and they don't know what it is. It seems like half of them describe states where they feel floaty, have vibrations, hear voices, and are paralyzed or not in control of their bodies. I have tried so hard to do that--never succeeded. Actually, I have had expriences where I get out of bed--not with my real body--and there are voices and spirits all around and stuff but they are more like dreams, with no vibrations and not much clarity. And meditating is beyond me. I can't focus, and I can't sit up that long without being distracted by trying to stay upright. And if I lie down... I fall asleep.

How do you do it so well?

Well that's becouse you astral projected out of your body. For me it happens when I'm relaxed but I'm trying to control it so that I could do it when ever I want. I am not sure on how to help you but maybe you can try talking to your angel be aware if its a pure positive feeling that you get from your angel than you are fine. If you think its evil outomatically reject and block it from rntering your mind. Be very careful learn how to use your powers. Do you research and if you have any questions about the topic let me know at jaklin_valle [at] yahoo.com ok be well!
