Two Very Short Tales Of A Santeria Priestess

I'll admit right away that I am breaking the first guideline of submitting a story on this site but this is something that I want to share. There was this neighbor who would come over often to talk to my mom (actually, my mom would mostly listen). She was an old lady, probably in her late 70's. She was Cuban and she was a Santera (priestess of santeria). People would hire her for spells and this sort of thing. She told us once of an apartment that she lived in where the previous tenant had committed suicide in the bathtub (actually it was rumored that he was murdered by his wife for his will money). She would do her rituals and spells in the apartment and it was possible that this disturbed Bill (the man who supposedly committed suicide) somehow. She said that he would appear next to her bed, giving her a cold stare. Sometimes he would yell and be real angry. Once, she said, when she was cooking that Bill appeared and grabbed her by the neck and tossed her on the bed and tried to rape her. Fed up by this, she moved. The apartment is now occupied by my aunt who has mentioned before feeling Bill's presence.

Another story I remember her saying (apart from her numerous claims that she had an affair with Fidel Castro in Cuba) was the time when a small elf-like entity stole her medical insurance card. She said it was morning and she woke up and lit a cigar and laid it in front of a statue of Saint Lazarus as an offering of gratitude. She changed for her doctor's appointment and when she looked for her card in the drawer she saw a tiny man run from behind a mirror with the card in his arms. He jumped down and she chased him into the kitchen but the little man got away. She actually never found the card and had to order a new one.

I've heard of small elf-people also in parts of Mexico and even here in California. There's a spanish show called "Extranormal" that spoke about them too. They are known, legend has it, to kid nap small children and give them wisdom and return them to their families when they are adults so they can serve as shamans in their towns. My brother had a friend who told me that he visited a place in Mexico that was a hilly, mountain-like place, where if a person goes and waits quietly and calmly, they might see some of these small people pop up and look at you.

I enjoyed reading this. There was a program on coast to coast radio show about the devas that live with us but are "slightly out of phase" with us. In other words they must be in another dimension or are existing at a different frequency and are difficult to perceive them. They specifically talked about brownies, ferries, elf-like creatures, gnomes, etc. One of the legendary devas will play tricks and hide objects from you.
Our American Indian tribes have many stories of little people. Some even talk of seeing them today. A couple medecine women told me that these devas help them with information that they need to do their readings.
My psychic that I've known for 10+ years tells me that I've only been reincarnating here for 300, 000 years after having decended from being an elf-like deva in the 5th or 6th dimension.
