I'm 16 years old and have been reading about the metaphysical for about 4 months now. I've been trying a lot of things like meditation, lucid dreaming, astral projection, and contacting my spirit guide. I have gotten close to leaving my body but haven't done it yet. I lucid dream probably 2 times a week and haven't gotten a hold of my spirit guide.

I read about the ascension in spirituality and give somewhat a lot of effort to improve my skills in meditating and astral projecting. Not a whole lot has happened to me in these past few months and I'm close to getting worried. I know everyone has their own time of spiritual awakening but I guess I was expecting something by now.

I collect crystals I guess you could say, but still I haven't done anything spectacular. I know the more I read and study the subject, the sooner things will happen. So if you could please send me an article or website where there's information on any of the things I mentioned I'd appreciate it. The things I'm most interested in are intuition, astral projection and deep meditation. I'm a Virgo by the way, just in case that helps with anything.:)

P.s. Just in case you didn't understand what my point of this whole article was... I'm asking for some help on how I can improve my psychic skills and start connecting with my spirit guide (s). Thx!

Thanks everyone. I have used the brainwave entrainments alot. The ones from ambiscience are really nice but I haven't used them in a while. And yes Anne amethyst is one of my favorites.

as for the whole alpha / theta thing Anne was saying, try I-doser...
You can buy them on itune... Each is 12 minute long and is meant to alter your brain waves, and works... Sometimes your headphones may not be good enough for it to work... So you may have to get nicer ones... And you have to relax and meditate during it...

Its also recommened that someone sits and watches you in case you start freaking out, depending on your experience

You've been reading for four months now and you're close to getting "worried" it's not happening fast enough? You're in for a lot more worry if your evolution and unfoldment is a 'months' type of deal. It takes years to progress. There will be leaps here and there but it's a life-long endeavor and process.

Feel free to peruse my astral projection web site at www.astralvoyage.com. What helped me project were the Robert Monroe Gateway tapes. They are pretty pricey but you can probably find some used or maybe even find some download somewhere for cheap. This binural technology had me projecting within 30 days of daily use. I'm sure it varies by person though depending on discipline and maturity. I bought those tapes about 12 years ago and still use them on the regular. His books were pretty good too.

Also, maximize sleep! You aren't going to project while in beta. You've got to learn how to get to deep alpha or even entry into theta. Keep researching All the information you need is out there. You're still very young so it's more difficult due to your natural high energy. But practice and discipline always rule out.

If you have crystals, find a high quality amethyst and put it on your third eye. This will help open that chakra and increase your psychic visions.
