I'm a 15 year old girl and ever since I was young I would have these nightmares that felt real and dreams of flying. I would have dreams of me flying in my backyard or flying down my street where I lived. But I was always frightened because someone or something was chasing me. This was a reoccurring thing where I would be flying, trying to get away from the thing trying to chase me. It was so evil and I was so scared I would wake up abruptly and not want to go back to sleep.

These were not the dreams that came true though. Eventually they stopped and I'm thankful for that, but lately I've been having dreams that gave hints of what would happen the next day. Here's a dream that really made me think. Some background info: I have a little girl cousin who I haven't seen in around 3 months and have never dreamt about her specifically until this night.

*I was in a hotel room. It looked to almost be a hotel I stayed at when I was younger. But I can't really remember much about the room.

My little cousin (who was four at the time) was in there with me. I don't know why though. She was wearing a dress and was being her adorable self and I picked her up like I used to when she was only 1 or 2 years old. I held her close as if to keep her safe or show her how much I love her.*

That was the end of my dream... The next day my sister told me we were invited to my aunts house because it was my little cousins birthday, which I had no idea about. Later when we went there I forgot about the dream I had and enjoyed myself there and had fun with my family. Then my aunt wanted to take a picture of all of the cousins, so my sister picked up my 8 year old cousin and Mary ran over to me and asked me to pick her up, so I did. Sh was wearing a dress, and I held her like I used to when she was 1 or 2... And we took the picture. Immediately I thought back to my dream and thought this was extremely weird.

I'm not good at interpreting dreams or even guessing why I have dreams that somehow tell the future. But I have had more than just this one dream and if someone could tell me why I have these dreams and why I had that reoccurring nightmare it would be so amazing and helpful and would be a big load off my shoulders.

I think you've figured out that dream with my help, it was becuase of your mom's boyfriend. I'm glad he's out of your life now ^_^

Lol. I would have been pissed:P But watch out for the other types of dreams as well, some of them seem so crazy they won't come true. Once I had a dream that I was in the "thriller" video with Michael Jackson, and all of a sudden he fainted. I woke up and I just laughed. But a couple weeks later, he died. So yea, no matter how crazy they seem be prepared.:)

and I just had one of those "dreams that come true" actually haha. I had a dream my hair straightener broke and I had to use my old one. When I woke up I found that my straigtener was broken for no apparent reason... Hahaha. I used my old one to get ready for school:P

the only man I can think of hurting someone is my moms abusing boyfriend. He hurts me emotionally because he used to hurt my mom... But hes out of our life now. (at the time of this dream he was still hurting her) could that be who the man was?

I understand more then you think! It's hard telling people for fear of them not believing you. My mom has my gift but doesn't want anything to do with this. She's believeing me more and more though. && My best friend is one of those people where if she can't see it she can't believe it, so whenever I bring it up she just changes the subject:/

Okay, so it's always someone different... But I noticed you said a MAN. Has a man hurt you sometime in your life? Emotionally or physically?

and the person chasing me is always different. Sometimes just a black force of nothing... Sometimes a man with a knife or gun... But the man is always different and I can never really remember who the man is in detail when I wake up

thankyou so much! And the dream thing coming true is starting to happen alot. Ill tell my sister about it in the morning before anything happens and later when it does she'll be freaked out lol. But shes the only one I can tell who actually believes me. And I have had dreams of living in a beautiful old victorian house alot, I think this might be from a past life? Because I loveeee victorian houses now for no reason really... The older the house is the more I really like it...

The nightmares:
To dream that you are flying is VERY common, as is getting chased. Flying usually means freedom, and being chased usually means insecurity. So it probably means that you're afraid of makeing your own choices, that you might screw up or make a mistake. You might be afraid of being out on your own. Do you know anything else about the thing that was chasing you?

As for the coming true dreams:

I can tell you that this is either a type of "phase" or they'll be coming a lot more. It's okay to freak out about them. I once had a dream where my old best friend died of asthma, she hasn't yet but Idk. But I've also had dreams where I saw my children. Sometimes this gift is wonderful, and at other times it feels like a curse. But you'll be alright, just let it flow. Also it might help if you had a dream journal. When you wake up write in it.

But don't rely on it all the time this happens, if you're guts telling you it isn't right you should probably listen to it. Everyone has different interpretations.

Btw the reocurring dreams just mean you're sub-concious is trying to tell you something really important, you should listen to it Lol.
