During last week, while on the computer typing up a story, I heard a little girl's voice, there was only me upstairs at the time and my parents downstairs. My parents were watching television and it was on loud. I heard a little girl's voice, it was little quiet so I turned around and looked at my porcelain dolls. It wasn't them of course. The voice was coming from another room upstairs, sounded like it was coming from my parents room, I'm not sure, it was coming from one of the other 3 rooms upstairs. I carried on because I couldn't be bothered getting up, I wanted to type up all my story first before getting up, just to get it finished. I stood up and and it all went silent, so I thought she has gone now. Then I sit back down and can hear her again. I couldn't understand what she was saying, she was either singing or talking fast.

Then 1 minute later BANG! My dad comes out of the living room, turns the landing light on. "KATIE what was that?" shouted my dad. "Nothing!" I walk near the landing and look over and I say to my dad "it wasn't me it was coming from your room". He doesn't believe in ghosts, none of them do. I do tell them I see them, but they don't listen. Like they wouldn't listen if I told them I heard a little girl in the house and that's who made the bang. We never heard from that little girl again.

yeah she hears them but she gets frightened but she doesn't want to believe in this kind of stuff. Its only me who is open and confident. I've been psychic since I was little. I wouldn't say she was a medium but has the psychic ability of hearing them. I think most people hear them. To be a psychic medium don't you have to see them, see loved one's and dream of the spirit world and that.

my mom, and her friends have psychic abilities. Ny mom's are dwindled almost all th way down, but her friend's and her sons' (the friend's sons') have amazing powers. They know a lot about what will appen (but won't tell me). 😢

thats pretty amazing, katie. Does this mean that your sister is a medium too? You said she hears them.

does anyone else have someone in their family they know of that also has abilities.
I'm slowly learning how gifted my grandfather was before his death. All my questions are finally bringing this out. HE knew things that would happen all the time. Calling people when they weren't home and still being able to contact them without realizeing where he was calling. Knowing when someone was about to come through the door and etc...

I've heard my name yelled in my sleep. Didn't get a chance to feel anything. I was sound asleep that night. It was a male and very loud, almost shocking. Jumped up and realized my son had burrowed his head under my back. My youngest scares easy at night and ends up sleeping with me. I quess a warning that night. My son is also hearing and seeing now, just beginning I believe. I fell asleep another night while my son was coloring. Again same thing, but yelled hey. I think they're playing with me this time. I jumped up again. My son looks at me and says did you hear that man yell. He said "Hey". Normally if I see spirits, my lights will flicker before hand.

hi girlygirl89 yeah I've heard others especially downstairs at night and my sister hears voices downstairs but she ends up making a big fuss and runs in my parents room. She ends up waking us up but when I wake up I feel something grabbing onto my arm and that. So when she runs in my parents room the ghosts/spirits come to me and grab me as if they are scared. I've woke up finding a ghost of a man at the side of me.

I've heard voices audibly before, usually just before I fall asleep and it's sentences, but sometimes in the day too, but I never hear whole sentences when I'm all the way awake, it's just my name. One time before I went to sleep I felt a presence to the left of my bed right next to me and then I saw a vision of a snake, not a bad snake. The snake is an ancient Goddess symbol, and it wasn't bad. Then I fell asleep and I had a dream. In the middle of the dream I felt a presence behind me to my left and then someone said right in my ear "Anna" and I woke up. I kept asking my mom what she wanted and then she was all annoyed because I woke her up and she hadn't said anything at all. The dream taught me something though that I needed to know. I have dreams that teach me things a lot.

They say people with abilities have to be careful. If your out and about and having a terrible week or day, you need to try to think positive. Bad things can also attract to us as well and they tend to do it when they see the negativity in us. I've learned this the hard way. They weren't lying about that. I've learned from Edmund that our aura's are much brighter and the spirit world sees this. Kind of cool, but scary as well. I've seen many things throughout my life, good and bad.

Sometimes spirits just pass through. There are also times when spirits follow us home. Our aura attracts them.

All throughout my life I've heard my name being called. Turn around and no one is there. They say it is our guardian angel calling us. Sometimes they yell to stop us in our paths so we don't get hurt.

Im not sure that I have had the same thing happen to me. Like there are times when I think I hear people calling my name and then it turns out that no one in my family did... Stuff like that but I always brushed it off since I have never actually seen/been approached by a ghost/spirit. (At least I don't think so) so, you've seen others too?
