A Demon Told Me To Starve

Although this happened when I was only four years old, it is something that I can't forget. I woke up in the middle of the night, turned over and beside my bed was a short furry creature with cat like ears and sharp yellow decaying teeth, it smelled like rotten eggs.

It stared at me, grinned, giggled the most evil giggle I've ever heard and exclaimed "Starve, starve!, STARVE!". I put my head under the covers, then looked back up and it was standing at the end of my bed grinning, then disappeared. I ran to my mothers room and told her someone was in my room, and it wasn't a boy or a girl. She assumed it was just a nightmare and said a prayer. I went back to my room and somehow found peace and fell asleep.

That night I had a dream about a snake in my bed, then light shined through the window and the snake turned into a colorful stuffed animal snake.

I woke up that morning and turned over, I saw a 7 foot tall glowing man in a white gown with short light brown hair smiling at me peacefully, it frightened me, and I buried my face in the covers, turned and he was gone.

This memory has stuck with me crystal clear through my entire life. I've always wanted to know what "starve" meant, I've told different people about it throughout my life and they have all asked if I've ever struggled with an eating disorder, I haven't and I feel the meaning behind the word is something deeper. Can anyone help me make sense of any of this?

the demon I've heard of it before. My friend has seen it before too. It is a demon that feeds on the life force of children and it first has to get you into a weakened state before it can put you into a point of fear where your eyes are deadlocked with the creatures and it can get on top of you and with its mouth open suck the life force out of your mouth. Though its head is above yours not its lips on yours. But that's how it feeds and survives. It only feeds on children though.

Or it could mean that the demon wants him to starve or hunger for temptation.

6feet,
This is just my opinion, I think 'starve' means it was hungry for your energy. As mentioned in some articles in this site, some spirit consumes energy.
It show itself in an intimidating form was to scare you, so you can form a negative energy (fear) it can take.
As for the 7 foot tall glowing man you saw, he could be an angel; or something else. Because spirits can take any form. Even a devil can disguise as an angel.
But the fact that it never happen again, he could be a real angel protecting you. And ward the snake or that spirit off.
I wish you wise and well, and keep praying. 😊

Our brains are unbelievably complex and highly skilled at creating patterns out of random shapes. If you were half asleep and half awake when you saw this your brain will have been trying to formulate a shape it could relate to previous experience out of the half-seen patterns your eyes could dimly make out as it was coming out of a dream. If someone in the house was watching TV your brain will have tried to incorporate sounds into the amalgam of dream & mis-seen shape creation. I often dreamt of fire engines as I woke up to hear the telephone ringing (phones in England and old fashioned fire engines used to have the same kind of ringing). Even today if I think I see something out of the corner of my eye my automatic response is to pause and recheck since I know how easily my brain can misinterpret shapes/reflections/sounds in poor light etc. Children in particular are still storing visual experiences to improve pattern recognition so they are more prone to misinterpret sights and sounds. For years I was convinced we had holidayed in the sout of France near those winding mountainous coastal roads - until I discovered there is one short road in Devon, England (where we had actually stayed) which looks similar - but my brain conflated that with films I had seen on TV! The brain is wonderful in the errors it makes.

Hey, I'm responding quite late to what your conversation was, but in 1995 there were a lot of situations that made people starve, maybe it was reflecting on an event that would happen soon. Do you remember what month you had your vision?
Here are some links to news articles that were in 1995

6feet:

Just yesterday I was thinking about a pair of dreams that I'd had when I was about six-seven. Both dreams occurred in different places, but involved a voice saying: "Who could be in the closet? Show her, _______." I can't recall the name of the creature that jumped out at me, but it was a 3 foot tall, furry black silhouette. I was so frightened! And when I read your story today, I thought that this could be similar to what you experienced.

I have to ask you this: if you saw this creature again, would you be so frightened? In other words, would something that frightened you so much as a six year old, still frighten you now? If that silly creature I saw, which I now think could have been a demon, appeared to me again, I think I would just laugh at it. How cowardly does an entity have to be to try and scare a small child?

To "starve":

As for yelling "starve", what does it mean to starve? It means to die of hunger, to be deprived of something, or to suffer from malnourishment (Aust. Oxford Dict.) The demon wanted you to "starve" and die - to be deprived of love and spiritual nourishment - because that way, you would no longer be a threat. Some people say that fear is the opposite of love. If you could be made to live in fear, then truly, you would be spiritually malnourished and you would "starve". I agree with what someone else here already said: that evil may try to nip the growth of those with strong spiritual energy in the bud, so he/she does not become a threat.

The vision of the snake:

Snakes can have many meanings across many different cultures. In Western culture they usually signify evil and deceit. The fact that the sun shone through your window and turned the snake into a toy, I think, means that God (or however you choose to identify the Divine) was showing you that you have nothing to fear. By turning the snake into a harmless toy, I feel the message to you was: "Don't worry; don't be afraid. We will not allow you to be harmed. All that is scary and evil might as well be a toy in the light of love."

The Man in white:
As for the seven foot tall man, I believe that was an angel, and a confirmation of what I believe God was saying to you. The angel came to reassure you that you were protected after the scary experience.

I apologise for the long post - hope this helps you.

Blessings

I don't mean to be inconsistent but when I think about it, I'm not sure if the snake part was a dream or not. It seemed to surreal to be real... But then again so do a lot of things I've seen. I really don't know. Also I remember my bed being in a different place in the morning. Then I left my room and returned and it was back to where it was suppose to be.

"Starve" probably doesn't have anything to do with food, but more like knowledge. I feel that you have some potential and usually when people have potential, the evil comes to it and tries to tear it right from the root. Whether we like it or not, this happens all the time and it tends to scare off would-be-future psychics. (it happened to me and the father of my daughter, but instead of being scared we researched on how to become stronger to protect our children. So the demons after us in childhood wasted their efforts on us)

This was obviously a shapeshifting entity just trying to scare you. That was all it was trying to do since there's certain rules in their games. I have a name in mind of who it could have been, but I'm not sure... It could have been anyone.

As for the tall 7ft man? I think that may have been an angel that set that thing in place and protected you. I'm pretty sure that that thing won't be able to bother you again even if it wants too as long as that man is keeping an eye out for you which I'm certain he is.

from what I know you. In the bible its says that demons can get in snake. Like Adem and eve story if you believe in christian will if you don't. But if you believe in Islam also demons can be snacks that is why if you see a snake in your house you worn them three time and if they come back you kill them. Also demons can fly so they can get to bird, sheep, snakes, and camels. And how they do it is the same way they do when they try to get inside humans body. So I think you need to pray every night before you go to sleep and fix you bed before you go to sleep. I hope that really help and if you want to learn more I just send me email. And I hope you understand I'm not good at explaining things lol

6feet... I think it wanted to see you starve from a lack of love... If demons can get you to be alone and reject love... Then they have a way in. The snake part was interesting and so was the visit in the morning from what I think was an Angel or spirit guide... Making sure that there would be light and love there to conquer dark and evil things... Good story!

um, have you tried to re-arrange those words?
I read it backwards and it says Evarts so I researched it in dictionary.com and got
"William Maxwell, 1818 - 1901, U.S. Lawyer and statesman."

Tell me, what year did you see the demon or something?

Starve... Why is everybody so sure he could be talking in english? It COULD have been another language. And it could mean something else. You didn't strave, so the chance that it meant what we think it meant is less possible. Unfortunately, I can't tell you what the word means or COULD mean. I tried to find in google, but it just went for english. Like you said, and I agree with you I'm sure 'he' didn't say it in english. But then... What could it mean?

This man... I have no idea who he could be. But there is something going on in your life. If I were you, I would be careful. Good luck.

Hello 6feet, well the word starve means to go hungry or die from hunger but this word might have a spiritual meaning for you, ask God and your spirit guilds for protection. This might happen again so you may want to be prepared. Also that demon or just an evil spirit might be wanting to scare you, if any evil spirit or demon comes back, DO NOT show fear, you may feel fear but don't make it visible because they can live off of peoples emotions and they can keep on reoccurring when ever they like. If they speak to you try not to answer because they can switch your words around and use them against you. I hope this is helpful and take this advice from an Indigo.
Blessed be-IndigoGIRL
P.S-Don't trust any snake that randomly shows up in your home or room (bad idea) 😲
