Waking With A Scar

A while back I had a dream. I didn't really think much of it until now. And I would like some help with it. Here's my story.

I had dreamed that my family and I had a house right on the edge of the forest. For the longest time I had wanted this rare monkey that lived in the woods. Sadly, my family would not let me because the little creatures were dangerous. But finally, they broke down. A few days later I had my little pet monkey and was getting into the car to go to the park. Before I knew it, the monkey jumped up and bit my neck. At that instant I woke up. I touched my neck to fine a small cut about two inches long in the same exact place where the little animal had bit me. At both ends of the cut there were small holes, like cashes and I was bleeding.

Now, I don't believe in vampires, but a friend of mine that I have know for about a year claims that he is one. But I think maybe there is some other explanation. I believe that it might be something different.

Also, I do have two cats, but I keep my door shut and locked at night so no one comes in and bothers me while I'm sleeping. So it couldn't have been my cats. I don't have anything sharp on, around, or near my bed and I don't have nails. I do not sleep walk. So I'm still confused as to how this happened.

If anyone has any idea what this is, please respond. I hope to get some answers.
