Is It Normal To Have Abilities When You Were Younger, Then Have Them Disappear?

I just have a few questions about being psychic. Is it normal to have abilities when you were younger, then have them disappear, only to return in the later teen years? I'm asking because I am 17 now, and I'm starting to get 'powers' again. I should probably mention my psychic abilities, right?

1- My main, or strongest, ability (if you can have dominating ones) is precognition, or seeing the future. And before you say 'cool' or 'awesome' to yourself, know that it's not as simple as it sounds! I see a picture of something and it lasts for no more than 2 seconds. Then later on that day or week, I will see it in real life. And I don't know if this happens to everyone, or maybe it's because I'm just getting my ability back, but is it hard sometimes to distinguish a vision from a random thought? It's really confusing for me, and if anyone has any advice, I would appreciate it.

2- I can sense ghosts. When I was little, I actually had the ability to see them, but now I know when they're near me or looking at me.

3- I have claireaudience. I think that's the spelling, anyway. My first experience with this was when I was in Mexico and I heard my friend calling my name, only he was hundreds miles away. Then the next day, I heard my other friend call my name. Again, he was back home. So the trip is over and we go home, only to find messages left by my two friends, both on the days I heard them calling me. Now I get it while riding shot-gun in a car, watching t.v., or zoning out in class. The latter comes in handy with petty high school drama, because I know who's talking about me behind my back!

I still remember my first day on this site and the joy I felt reading that there really were other psychics because they had my same experiences. If there are any other young psychics, I'd really like to talk to you. Please let me know what you think.
