I have been living in my home for about a year now. I am an army wife and my husband is currently away in Iraq, so I have been sleeping on my pull out couch for about a month now. It helps because it's close to the doors. I've known for some time now that I have a spirit in my home. It very rarely wakes me, or bothers me, so I kind of figured it's just a spirit of a fallen solider who was here to look over our family. To get to the point, last night I went upstairs and shut off all the lights, came down stairs and did my normal routine before bed. I climbed into the pull out connected to my couch. At first, I couldn't go to sleep because I felt really uneasy. I tried to brush it off as I am missing my husband, here alone with my small son. I dozed off around 1:30 in the morning.

I woke at 2:48 and realized the hall light upstairs was on. Again, I am no stranger to paranormal activity so I figured it was my solider friend and he didn't want to be in the dark. I attempted to go back to sleep, but right above me, where my bedroom is, I heard footsteps. Once again, I just passed it off as he was just roaming. I rolled over, facing my television and I noticed someone was walking down my steps. I turned over to look and I saw him. It's really fuzzy this morning, but I saw him come down the stairs and he told me his name was Joshua. I had a hard time figuring out if he was saying John or Joshua, but I am sure it was Joshua. He then attempted to let me have a piece of his mind, but I couldn't make out what he was saying, he was talking so fast! After that, he just disappeared... Or maybe he just didn't want me to see him anymore. All I know is I had the hardest time I've had in a long time sleeping. I know he was still in the living room with us, I could feel it. I am wondering if maybe he is upset that we have started to sleep downstairs. Maybe he got use to talking to us while we sleep? If you have any advice, I would love to know what I can do to make my friend at ease.

If you ask me, it was just another sorry a$$ demon having you on LOL! If he truly was a "lost spirit" and wanted to communicate with you, why on earth would he be talking so fast, so that you couldn't understand him?!? Don't trust these unknown spirits, just say: "in the name of Jesus Christ, go away! And God bless you!". That's it! See my PROPHILE for more info.

You're getting some great advice.

All you have to do is talk to him like you would anyone else. He's dead, not an alien. He was human once and should be be treated as one. Just say "Joshua, I'm sorry if I offended you, but I'd like to talk to you"
Then just see if he answeres. If he does, great, If he dosen't, just give him some time.

Also thought I'd mention that my Spirit Animal is also named Sheena XD She's a wolf.

try to talk to the ghost. Another way you can communicate with joshua is that you take out a flashlight. Unscrew the stop until you only have to touch it to make the light go on. Set it down a few yards away from you. When he is in the room, ask him yes or no questions. Tell him if the answer is yes, turn the flashlight on. If no, thank keep it off.

Panhil- I have always been taught to have respect for the spirits that deserve it. I trust myself enough to know when to allow myself to see. I do have a history of psychics dating back to the 1800s in my family. I am very proud to have the gift I do. As for the husband comment, this may be true. Thank you for reading.

Kahlyn-Joshua is not a child. He is in his early, early 20s, 20-22ish, very handsome face, but not very muscular. I have a feeling he was drafted a long time ago.

Rashidah- This may sound really weird, but I feel like he is avoiding me. I've tried to talk to him, when he walks into a room I say hello Joshua, and in my mind I instantly get an image of a back! I think I might have hurt his feelings somehow.

You respect the ghost because it obviously took a lot of strength and courage to talk to you perhaps it feels less intimidated now that your husband isn't here that he can talk to you. Do you have a family history of psychics or anything like that you might be sensitive.

I am going ask some more information. I heard of a spirit named "Joshua" before from some of my friends.

Is the spirit a child?

I believe that you should try talking to him to see what he wants.
He is probably getting trouble crossing over to peace ❤
