Why Do I Get Past Visions?

The only people I have ever talked to about this was my grandmother and my mother. They both at different times confirmed the same thing happens to them from time to time and told me it was a gift. But I find it to be a curse most of the time.

Also noticing as I am growing older it is happening more frequently then it was before as a child. I started really noticing this and questioning it around the age of 10 or so.

When it happens depending on what it is, sometimes it really bothers me. What triggers it from what I have found is two things, visually seeing something or someone talking about their past.

What will happen is I will see a very detailed vision with in my mind. It is hard to explain but it is like a flash and I see the vision. What is scary is sometimes I will ask the person questions about what I saw in the vision and they confirm it but never mentioned what I have asked. I also notice seeing things sometimes triggers them.

What is it and what is causing it. It is like I am seeing visions of peoples past that I should not be seeing. This is really starting to bother me also I can't control it, it just happens for no apparent reason. Also it does not happen every time it just comes and goes when it wants to.

You are like my friend. She sees visions like you but what triggers hers is keywords. Your "trigger" is people talking about their past. I wish I could see visions like that. To control it... Its hard to do so but you can still. Try to not listen to other people conversations, make sure your mind doesn't hear the words from that person. I wish you luck on this. In a different perspective, I actually think you're pretty lucky to have these visions.

Think about it, you don't actually have to tell everyone that you have these visions about them. Maybe if they ask your help about something, at least you have sufficient background information to give a proper answer to them.

You may feel that you are unintentionally prying open people's past, but why don't you think of it as an intimate secret shared between the 2 of you?:)

imma say what I did cause I went through the same thing is that ignore it as much as posible and try to contact the tv show pshycic children kids of the paranormal and see if they can answer your question I had to learn on my own and I can feel see pictures of spirits and hear em soo I grabbed my crystal necklace and some blood red wine (not suppose to use it) but I did and I swung it around the wine and meditated on it and asked god to stop it until I can controll it and then asked the spirits to leave me alone and why is this happening to me it answered my question and I hope it answers yours 😁
