A Sound Wakes Me Up At Night

Last night, I was worrying about something so constantly and rapidly in a dream, as if repeating the thing that worried me to someone; the thing might be true but the dream wasn't, then while doing so, I woke up to a baby's laughter or something like that. It came from in front of my pillow. I looked around and saw no one. Everyone in the house was asleep and I always sleep in my room locked and alone. I tried to remember what I was worried about, but I'd forgotten and knew the worry was, therefore, gone. Although I know the worry about something real.

A few nights before, I could hear someone making a zipping sound probably from the suitcase next to my bed, but it was louder than what the suitcase would sound like. The sound was inside my room and I was already half-awake and could hear the rest of my family outside talking. Although, I could really feel someone was there playing with my stuff. I went back to sleep, but didn't forget about that incident. When I woke up the next morning, I tried to rationalize it, worried someone in the house could have been messing with my stuff while I was asleep, but the door was locked. I always lock my room, and so there was no one in my room that night.

I also know that voices waking me up at night happened at other times before, at least once and it freaked me out then. Can someone please explain?

You shouldn't freak out
It's possible that this young spirit wants to get your attention

I know that I also hear voices
I never got freaked out and until now I am pretty relaxed about it

Somehow without the voices I tend to feel alone

Anyways...

Best wishes

Well hug100, you know about the dangers of using ouija boards, right? With ouija boards you cannot regulate who or what comes through them--you are not in control. It's the same with evp. You play around with that at your own risk.

I'm not going to tell you what to do--just warning you that you may open doors that you will find very, very difficult to close again.

I hope you know what you're doing.

I've only done an Evp session a few times to see if the noises I was hearing were actually there. I'm not sure what the voice I picked up was exactly because I was not the only one home and I've learned how to fight off any spirit in my home. I wish to try to see if the voice I picked up was some one around here or a spirit but with a bad audio program I will not know for sure. I'm also trying to use it to mix music for videos.

By the way, I'm sorry hug100, I wouldn't recommend messing around with evp, or any psychic phenomena for that matter. You're asking for trouble.

Blessings

Hi Mimi

I believe yours is a classic case of one of the 'three Bs': 'bed', 'bath' and 'bus'. What this refers to are times when our mind is most at rest, and therefore, more open to spirit. What you've been hearing are sounds that you ordinarily would not be able to perceive, because you are in bed, and you are relaxed, and your mind is quieter. Hearing things in the spirit is known as 'clairaudience'.

Hope this helps

Same thing happen to me; I thought I was going crazy. Sometimes I wake up scared thinking someone was breaking into the house. I looked outside my window and nothing was there. I heard a big boom sound last night almost like a gunshot. I need to know what's going on. Especially in my dreams.

i am also like this. I hear many things, last night for example, I heard two voices talking next to my desk. And tapping, everynight, on my window, and scratching on my bedroom door. Those are just a few examples. I'm sorry to say I don't have any advice for you, though. I have asked whatever it was t stop, and it came more and more and now I hear stuff at almost all times...

I have a similar experience often. On more then one acount when I have been right between awake and asleep I hear someone say my name. It sounds so real I jump, but no one is there. I just pass it off as "normal" because many times I feel asthough there is someone watching me.

I remember a time when I had clairaudience. It was about a year ago... And at night, I'd hear it. I'd hear people talking either in a large bunch, or really fast and I even hear my best friend's laugh sometimes.

But I got really sick of this, so one night I just told it to stop, and I think it sounded like I meant it... So It did. 😊

hmm try taking some Evp sessions if you hear the noises again any mp3 or cellphone will do. 😁 Also does any one know any good programs for messing with audio. I'm trying to mess with some EVPs I took but the program I have is not all that grate and the voice that I hear is muffled and I can not under stand it. 😕

Hi MimiB:)

This is called clauridence. When I was younger, mine used to be really bad. It is the one ability that I am still not in control of. Clauridence, the ability to hear what isn't there, can be terrifying. Most of us depend on our sense of sight, but being a claurident doesn't mean you can SEE what you hear.

Why do we hear them? Well, here's a theory. It is said that there are a number of 'switches' turned on in the average brain. But certain people, like us, have more than those turned on. Which allows them to experience things others don't even know about...that's one out of the many, of course, buuut, it's something:)

But is there an explanation to why we hear them? And why they come at certain times during the night or in our lives?

Hmm could be a spirit. I used to hear tapping from one side of my room to the other. (way too fast for anyone) I used to be awake all night with it. One day I told it to leave and I haven't heard anything since.
