A few months ago I had a bedroom upstairs in my house. I've now been moved to my basement. In my old bedroom I used to hear weird things. At night I would hear footsteps coming from my attic. I am the only one that would ever hear anything. It always happened when I was the last one up and when I was about to go to bed. I would sometimes hear footsteps in my hallway or downstairs, but no one else heard them except my sister on one occasion and she said she wasn't even sure.
I also see shadows. I was going upstairs once and I looked up into the hallway. I saw a shadow dart across. It looked like a person but my family was in the living room watching a movie. I shrugged it off and continued on my way. I went into the bathroom to get my brush and started brushing my hair. Then I saw a black shape dart behind me. I whipped around only to see nothing. I looked around and returned to brushing my hair. Then I saw another one. I whipped around and still saw nothing. I left my bathroom and told my mom and she told me I was hallucinating. I told her I know what I saw and sat down on the couch.
One night I was going to bed after finishing my homework. It was 11pm and I was the only one awake. I turned off the light and got in bed. I couldn't fall asleep immediately so I just laid there. Then I started hearing two people whispering. I listening trying to make out what they were saying and then one of the voices got clear and loud and it said "Shh! She's listening!" I freaked out and couldn't fall asleep. I eventually fell asleep around 1:30. The next morning I told my sister and she looked scared. I tried telling my mom and she told me she didn't want to hear it and that I needed to stop making things up. Why am I the only one who hears or sees things? Why won't my mom believe me? Can someone tell me what's going on?
