The Black Wolf

I am a sixteen year old girl and a couple of months ago, around the the beginning of June I had a sort of... Daydream. I guess you could call it that. I was not asleep, but I was in a fog of some sort. Anyway, A black wolf was chasing me and he was talking as he was chasing me. He kept saying "Seven days... Seven days!" It was not seven days later, but it was about three days later when my grandma sat me down to tell me that my cousins boyfriend had died in a car accident. I have no idea what it meant and I'm trying to figure it out. I've looked up animal meanings in dreams and day dreams, but nothing has come up. In the "Day Dream" I was running inside and outside of my grandmas house, which is across the street from my own house. I'm still wondering what this means and I would be very grateful if anyone has any kind of advice or a reason on why I was seeing this. The wolf was black and it had yellow eyes. It wasn't a huge wolf, but it wasn't normal size. That's about all it summed up to be. Thank you to anyone who is willing to help me! I will tell you more details if you need them in a comment. Also, nothing happened seven days after that day dream, but I still have reoccurring dreams about the black wolf. But in these dreams, he does not talk and he just chases me around.

Hi, I found your story when I googled black wolf, I had 7 dreams last night with 4 black wolves.
I know it must be symbolic but have no clue what it means.

I found this so interesting. My husband and myself have been seeing a black mass shadow figure of what appears to be a dog or wolfe in our home, mainly just going back and forth. My husband and myself, decided it was time to pray and annoint the house, so we did. After that, I was awakend in the middle of the night about 5 days ago, just to see this thing look at me through the door of my bedroom and then turn and walk down the hallway. My husband, last night, dreamed of what he thought was a vicious type of black wolfe figure chasing him, as if he was wanting to devour him. In his dream, he ran into a man (which he didn't know, that told him to send his wife and children back up to the house, that he was being chased from (which was our old haunted house, that we used to live in), and he told this man in his dream..."NO,I am their protector"), and then he awoke. If anyone would like to give their interpretation, I would be very appreciative. I would also, like to add, that this all began, about 2 months ago, when our son, who moved in with us, told us that he thought, he had brought a demon back from his girlfriend home. My husband and I started seeing this figure, around the time they started dating, and actually asked him about it. That is when he told us, he thought he might have brought a demon back from her house. Thats when we prayed over and annointed our entire home. Please feel free to comment any advice. Thanks so much:)

I know you posted this awhile ago, maybe this will help. Have you ever heard of the sheepdog and the wolf?, read up on it. A black wolf is a killer, or in a spirtual sense a demon. Could be yours or just one in general, if you have more dreams with a black wolf than he's one of your demons. 7 is a spirtual number - Gods number it means the end 1 being Alpha 7 being Omega, I know this sounds like gibberish but think about it. I don't think this had to do with the death of your cousins boyfriend at all. You were probably running around in your grandmothers house because it's a place of comfort to you. So to sum it up your demon was chasing and threatning to end something. That being said nothing probably ended because people make choices and dreams don't always come true.

If you ever look back at this:
I can't help you with possible meanings for the number seven, however I do know that a massive black dog is/was considered to be an omen of death in some places. I don't know if the symbolism changes if its a wolf instead but that is one omen that immediately came to mind upon reading your story.
I hope that might have cleared at least something up.

mirandaa hun.
Please do not go all paranoid. The wolf in your vision is only symbolic. It is NOT a real being. If you are continually having nightmares about it chasing you then you will have to call upon your God for protection and for him to give you a PEACE of mind.
God is Peace and He can give you a sound mind.

I pray that you take this advice. I say this without the superstition 😐

I would try to talk to it, see if it has anything to say, if it doesn't tell it to leave.

Thats the strange thing about it, it seems to be trying to cause you fear so that it could feed off it.

Hmm, it could be. But the only thing left is that the wolf was really mean to me.

It could be someshort of spirit that guides deceased souls to the other world and it waited until the funeral so your friend could hear everybodies final goodbyes.

Did anything strange happen after seven days? Just something that seemed alittle odd but you might of blown it off as nothing strange.

The only problem is that he kept saying seven days instead of three. Why would he say seven if my friend died three days later? The only thing I can think of is that seven might be an unlucky number for me or to watch out on the seventh of every month... Something. Thank you for helping. That really did give me a new perspective of what the dream may of ment.

I believe this dream is a warning for you to watch who you confide in hun. Be very careful of those around you.

This reminds me of the term 'Wolf in Sheep's Clothing'

I doubt it was a spirit guide what is sounds like is an intelligent spirit taking the form of an animal to bother you. Most likey it knew that death was coming to your family and people close to them so it decided to maginfy it.

The only thing that happened was me was going to my good friends funeral, which was the one I mentioned in the story. My cousins boyfriend... Would have been fiance if the girl who ran into his car was more careful. But that's another story. Anyways, yeah the funeral, but that's it. Nothing happened at all out of the ordinary at the funeral or even on that day. I keep checking for more signs since that day, but nothing has come up. It's really bugging me. 😕

the great seven, in the bible (Revilations) the number seven is mentined more then once. But it also took good seven days to creat the earth but then back to revilation it took seven days to end it. Your "DayDream" might have been a warning pay attenstion to any ind of sign and if the number seven comes up again you need to tell someone!

Well, I didn't think it had anything to do with my friend dying three days after because the wolf kept telling me seven days. It just scared me because, really, a black wolf and then my friend dies? Thank you for your input because I'm still worried about the dream. But the wolf showed up to me in my dream and he looked really angry.: (

I've always believed that animals have a deeper connection with God or whatever higher being you believe in than humans. They seem to know when to do things better than humans do. I don't know why the wolf showed up to your friend but sometimes animals are here to protect and defend.

Something kind of similar happened to one of my friends! She was in the woods, and a black wolf came towards her. She was really freaked. Later, we found out that one of our guyfriends passed out at the exact same time that our friend saw the black wolf (and his favorite animal is a wolf)...weird huh?

Well the last time I had a dream about the black wolf was about a month ago. I don't know if he will come back, but if he does I will ask him. The only thing I can think of why I was running inside and outside of my Grandmothers house would be that my Grandpa died in that house three years before this dream occured. You know, now that you mention it, I'm not really that sure if his intentions were to harm me or protect me. The next time I have a dream with the black wolf, I will post it on here and let you know. Thank you for helping me!:)

Why don't you try asking the wolf why it keeps following you? If you can control your dreams to an extent then you might be able to.

Dreams can mean many things. The mind creates the dreams to teach you about your life. Sometimes the symbols are universal and can be applied to many items. Sometime they are not. Your mind put that into your dream, figure out why it would do that. What do you associate wovles with?

How did the wolf act while he was chasing you? Was he trying to protect you or harm you in any way. It might have been your spirit guide trying to communicate with you or not.

Another thing about the future is that it is always changing. You cannot be certain that something will happen. From that point in your life, something was "suppose" to happen but you change something. Therefore you changed your future.

I have had dreams about wolves before but I wasn't chased in them.

I hope this helped.
