Something Is ATrying To Talk To Me

My story begins when I was very little. I grew up in a house that was about 60 years old around the time of my birth, my dad also grew up in this house. Around the age of 3 or 4 I can remember hearing voices mostly at night, most of the time it didn't bother me but sometimes I would be so scared that I would wake my parents up to comfort me, but the voices would still be there. My parents were pretty open minded as my mom had claimed smelling her dead mother's perfume in the house as well as seeing a happy old man in the house countless times, as well as other figures. I personally never saw anything only heard them. I also have a sensitivity to old places. Basically if it gives off a good vibe I don't feel anything odd but sometimes I get a really bad vibe and can sense being watched. I have had times when both my mom and myself well feel something is odd, while my brother and dad say nothing is odd. I'd say I stopped hearing voices around the age of 6, I think this is because it scared me that I shut it out or ignored it. Now that I am older I feel like when something is trying to talk to me it is hitting a barrier that is currently closed. I get a huge sense when ever thinking about it in the same place in my head. I would like to "re-open" the connection one day when I feel ready and wondering if there was a way to prepare? I'm open any suggestions. I still sense things pretty well like the whole someone is watching or something is in the room with me, I just can't hear anything any more in terms of voices.
