Once just before I woke up I heard this woman saying ''Why isn't she waking up?''
And then I had a feeling that the second 'person' leaned over me and touched my nose. Then I woke up.

If anyone has seen dark figures with hoods or hats they are called ''Shadow Peole'' They usually appear hooded or they are wearing hats. They are also mentioned in the Bible.

Recently I have had the same thing, but its a man and he only says a few sentences but they are nasty things like first he called me a f ing retard and last night said I was crude I didn't even know what crude was so I looked it up it happens most nights and I don't know what is making it happpen whether it is a ghost but they say horrible things and I wake up and there is nothing there not quite sure what to do about it and have been searching online to see if anyone else has experienced it. I don't believe in things but this is scary and making me feel I am crazy I don't even know the voice so I am not ruling out a ghost or something if anyone ha any suggestions on how to make it stop i'd be grateful.

Last week I told my physician about all of my sleep phenomema. (She is an MD and Pschiatric PHD) She was totally fascinated, and mentioned that she actually knew a couple PHD's who study these cases. She said she would call both of them and let me know what they say. I see her in another three weeks. So, hopefully I will have an update.

i have recently had the same experience, I have been woken up by these voices which seem to be male voices whispering in my ear very loudly rather than in my mind.

The first time it said to me 'flowers' which is the surname of the man in my life at the time,
The second time which was this morning, I was woken up to something along the lines of 'see the light' however it wasn't as clear as the first time I ever heard a voice but it was loud enough to wake me up.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one, but would like to learn more about why and what it may mean... I looked at annev's website link but found nothing about the etheric state, only etheric junk.

[at] bookworm78 I experienced almost the same thing but the difference with the voices I've heard is its coming from my mouth but it doesn't sound me. The first instant is a child or children laughing and my last experience is a voice of a lady talking about something but I can't remember what. I heard their voices just as I wake up and I only catch a faint trace of it, its like a fading away voice/voices.

If anyone knows something about it, can you please explain this phenomena.

i thought I was going crazy when I would hear voices as I closed my eyes to get my day's rest. I would open, and hear them again. They sounded like people at the mall or sometimes clear voices between 2 people or so. That's why at night I tune into my station from shoutcast radio.

I would LOVE to speak to you about this. I too have been experiencing the exact same thing since 2008. I have spent hours upon hours searching for the answer to this. I hear a voice just before I wake, I hear it more in my ears than my mind. Sometimes I will get short phrases, other times a series of numbers. A few months ago, the voice said the name Thuer. I too am positive in the spelling of what I hear. I will also get images or a short series of images, although these are rare. Most of my experiences are hearing related, and I had the voice accurately warn me of issues with my checking account. It is so strange and difficult to explain. I would love to trade experiences with you perhaps we can help each other out.

Part of that state can be the inability to move. That's the catatonic state. Again, more info on that site.

As for your husband, there are so many varieties of entities on the subtle planes that we can't know for sure which ones they were. When we are coming in out of sleep (the hypnogogic and hypnopompic state) we can detect entities like that. And of course, if we fully leave our body and enter the astral while conscious, our experiences widen more. We are but a filter with many layers and each layer let's us move up in frequencies and experiences.
