Hey, all...

So I'm a teenage girl, and I very much believe I'm an empath and a clairovoyant. I live with my mother and we both "feel" these things. I believe that we may have inherited our "sight" through our Cherokee ancestry; I have faith in the talent of my ancestral mothers.

I've been seeing things since I was little, starting with monsters in the closet, which my mom disregarded until she really started to believe that I was seeing this entire other plane that she sees. I remember very clearly seeing shadows, hearing voices, and once even seeing a hanged man in my closet.

I had a dream last night that really frightened me. For a while I've been seeing the same face, EVERYWHERE. The dream consisted of myself, meeting a young man about my age around the neighborhood. I invited him to my home after a long, pleasant conversation. We went to my house, and he immediately recoiled upon entering. I asked him if he was alright, and he said he was fine, and to not worry about it. I was giving him a tour around the house, and he immediately stopped in his tracks in the kitchen. I asked what was wrong again, and he said, "You've been marked." I asked where, and by what, and he pointed to a spot in the dining room where this one face I've been seeing appeared. "That. They're everywhere in your house. You're cursed by her." I asked by who, and he just looked at me knowing I knew exactly who he was talking about.

I'm extremely concerned now. I've been feeling random bursts of negative emotion, but I'm clinically anxious and depressed. Everything I do nowadays turns out badly or ends up disappointing my reasonable quality standards, but then I'm also under stress. (being in high school and all...) Is it a coincidence that I see the exact same face around every corner, and that I'm experiencing the textbook symptoms of a curse? I don't feel scared, per say, but it seems like this "thing" (which I don't think is human, in any sense) is both watching over me, and warning me or dragging me down. She even has different forms, but the same face. It's almost a common idea of the maiden, the woman, and the crone. The maiden always has more human dimensions and looks younger. The woman has wings, and looks a little more mature, at the peak of her (I daresay extraordinary) beauty. Finally, her most fearsome form is that of the "crone". She resembles the woman in the majority of the body, with wings as well (which, in both figures, are black), but is covered in blood which is red (or that of other people) and black (her own). She has what I'd probably call claws, and the teeth of a canine creature. But in all forms, she has pale white skin, either dark --and almost bottomless-looking-- eyes, or beady yellow-green ones in the "crone" form, and then rich, long, black hair. (Anyone know her? 'Cuz I don't) What should I do? She's everywhere and I don't know why. Is she a "she" or is she an "it"? I honestly don't even think she was ever "alive". Is she okay to stay or should I be concerned? If so, what are my options? Help!

(PS I'm not a Christian [though I've tried it out]. I observe a Neo-Grecian worship to the goddess Artemis; I don't really do magick but I perform worship ceremonies every full moon. Please don't bother if you're going to tell me to accept Jesus.)

By believing and worshipping the greek godess Artemis, and other spirits on a full moon, you open up yourself and your life, spread-eagle-wide-open to ANY spirit, to haunt and oppress you! The Greeks today, in the year 2015 A.D. Worship Jesus!...they forgot about Artemis and Apollo 2000 years ago... Get over it! You might not like hearing about Jesus, but we can feel your desperation on this post, and He may be your only option... "beggars can't be choosers!" Sorry for the necropost, but if you do a ritual then of course things will happen. You pretty much held a sign saying "Hey, any demon or evil spirit who wants to curse me or haunt me can come and do so." Now you may think that you knew what you were doing but the bottom line is this: You don't, I'm not saying I know better, but merely that knowing and thinking that you know are completely different. I'm not saying turn to Jesus or w/e, but ask a priest, again not saying to turn to Jesus, that will be the priest's job. Other than that I don't know what to say but deal with it. Not meaning to be rude.

okay forget about trying to figure out what it is because although that helps, in such a case like yours you know its pointless. Okay one, I believe your rituals you perform are opening up a vortex in your house. Now obviously a negative existance came in here. So two, don't think this thing is hard to get rid of, you never want to give anything the upper hand by psyching yourself out. And three, id suggest holding off on any rituals. Why? Because if you don't know what your doing you could very well be invoking an energy your one hundred percentage not sure of. And when you do that you open doorways or portals or like I said vortexs, which is all the same junk. I feel like you should burn some herbs dailey and ask for angels to help you. Good herbs are sage, rosemary, and parsely. Its likely playing off your fear, so that's why its following you. Its not strong, always know and tell yourself the power of good is far more severe than evil. Look if you want, give an email. Il try and help you out. Ok... Good luck

Do not be afriad of the shadows. That fear is what gives them power over you. You also are giving them energy when you are afriad. They feed off of the fear then torment you more for it. Try mediating on your emotions and allow love to flow through you. If you want to dispell of the bad shadows then all you have to do is to tell them to go away and leave you alone. The only thing that has to go along with it is that you say it with confidence and no fear.

The fact is that only you truly know what it is you are seeing. You can disregard what people are saying but it sounds like there is a specific answer you're waiting for.

In MY opinion, I don't think its a huge problem. Unless you feel completely threatened (in which case you should get rid of it so it doesn't hurt you), it doesn't sound harmful. If you say "I'm not "me" without my "self" to be myself" it doesn't sound like this being is posing a threat. If it feels like it is helping you-- keep contact with it, whatever it is. I, similarly, have a person I speak to who feels like she is a part of me. Sometimes people perceive this person to be threatening because frankly, it can be frightening to think that a part of you can leave so easily, or seem so frightening at first.

You're not screwed if you force her away. If it is a guardian angel/guide/whatever you would like to call it, it would come back if you asked it to. They do not completely leave you if you force them away-- it would probably be with you if you needed it/wanted it to be there.

"I would find it very sad if not even the psychics believed me..." That is what I'm speaking of in the beginning. Only YOU know what YOU are seeing and feeling and perceiving. I offer an opinion, I'm not telling you 'this is what's going on.' Listen to your intuition, that is what you should believe. If it's there to help and you WANT it to help you can let it. But don't let IT tell you what to do. Listen to the you that you trust, and completely believe.

-sigh- I suppose my point is what am I to do if it's there to help? If it's my guardian or whatever else you want to call it, I'm screwed if I force her away. If it's a form of self, I'm screwed because, of course, I'm not "me" without my "self" to be myself. Even if it's a shadow demon, (though I hope not) they do occasionally attach themselves to a noble purpose. I would find it very sad if not even the psychics believed me... Perhaps I'm just insane or paranoid.

Frankly, I think I do know the difference between something like sleep deprivation, and looking for my favorite pencil which proceeds to fly off a shelf in a perfect arc and land at my feet. (Which, yes, did happen quite recently.) My problem is that I don't know if this is or isn't a problem. I even once randomly said goodnight to whomever might be listening, and it responded in a way that gave me goosebumps. Just simply saying, "Goodni-ight..." in singsong at me. My question is not whether it exists, but whether this should concern me that I don't know its intent.

I've been having things like this happen too. Mine isn't scary, it's perfect. I always, only in the dark, see this ghost boy. He has black hair and green eyes, with pale skin. He talks to me, and I speak to him in my mind. Sometimes he helps me with tests. He is like my boyfriend. Then, the night after I met him, he came to me and warned me. Something would happen, bad. That night the trailer across the road caught on fire, and I saw it. I saw faces in the fire. Then I keep having visions of a black wolf with red eyes stalking around in the dark. It glares at me, and once growled. It scares me, alot. I love the boy, who I call Nico, and he warns me. But I'm scared of the other things. I talk to the shadows in the dark sometimes; they're friendly. But the other ones, the wolf and the faces, scare me. I had a dream last night where he told me to watch my back, that they're fighting inside me now. I never eat anymore, and I'm weak. I can't sleep and I'm depressed. I think they are inside, but Nico helps me. I just need an opionion, please. 😐

I like what the other people have said about this. To add to it a little, I do think you may be perceiving the thing wrong. Whether its a spirit, result of a curse, or manifestation of yourself, I think you're looking at it in the wrong way. The dream you had may be a tool for you to listen to, but at the same time if it was trying to make something known you should be looking more into the dream. You're hitting the surface of it, someone told you it was cursed= you think its cursed. Look at the smaller details because most of the time our dreams mean the opposite of what we think they do. Maybe the message of it was 'you're afraid of this being but you shouldn't be.' I recommend looking into it a little more.

Otherwise, it doesn't sound like a curse. It sounds like a harmless 'thing,' of what I have no idea. If you wanted to find out more about it I would uncover the guard you've put over her. It sounds like you're seeing one part of her but the rest is missing. You're focussing on what she's wearing, wings, claws... Focus on her attitude and mood. Look at the small details, they usually mean more than the more obvious ones.

I think you are fine. Just learning to perceive 4000000000000 explanations for every event.

Maybe you need to relax, sleep more, cut down on useless activities that don't bring joy, eat and make sure you don't exhaust yourself.

Life is so infinite and there are so many reasons to embrace change, learn new things and let go of the old.

I don't believe every dream.:) many dreams are us processing our fears.

We are all sometimes like children, who think we know it all and live in fear too much.

Thanks everybody. I started doing my research and realized that it may indeed be a shadow demon, or possibly even a manifestation of self. I only realized today just how much this particular thing resembles myself... Just a theory, if it turns out it doesn't go away when I force it to...

If bbdeathspark is correct and it is a shadow demon, then it has become attached to you through your negative emotions. Try to focus on the good instead of the bad. Ask yourself how can I improve in a situation even if it is negative. There is always some way to find something good in something bad (if that makes sense).

To try and get rid of the shadow demon (as I will now refer to it for I do not know what it is) tell it to go away. Force it away using a clear voice, showing no fear. Tell it that this is your life and it cannot control you. Don't say this as if you are suggesting it. You must force it away.

Humans have more power than we naturally think. I have found out that there is a way to access a feeling of love but it comes at a price (as far as I know of). I don't want to post how I got it for the fact that unnessecary people read these posts and possibly use them for evil purposes. It seems like some being is trying to instill fear or submissiveness in you. The mind is an extension of the soul, and emotions are energetic reactions which we feel better than others within our energy systems, because of our awareness of ourselves being so good mentally, and easily recognised. So yes, it's spiritual, but maybe no in terms of what areas of yourself are being communicated with or touched at all.

Often times the images we see in our minds are the closest renditions of our surroundings we can process, for whatever reason. Don't take them literally unless you know for fact that's how it is. For example, there's no blood on other planes, so a elsplanes being can't be covered in blood.

I wish you the best of luck in your endeavors. You are naturally gifted, being able to perceive things like this without practice, but keep in mind everyone has unlimited potential, and your gifts get better only with work and perserverance. Try as hard as you can to overcome your negativity, it will help you deal with these things in a manner beneficial to you.

Uhhh I'm not sure... I'm not even sure if this could be spiritual, as in the sudden bursts of emotions, but if you say it I then fine. Maybe meditate on happy thoughts?
