Lights Turn Off

Slidding its called... I am not sure if that's how its spelt. It first happened to me when I was out walking my dog late at night, I walked passed this one street light and I went out. I never thought much about it until the way back passed it. It happened every time I went by it and then it started to puzzle me, so I asked my then partner to take the dog that way at night to see if it happened to him and sure enough it never. I was a loony. It only happened with that one for a long time until it happened again this time my then partner and two young children where there I said as it went out remember that street light on the way back down, as we walked on it came back on and on the way back down it happened again, loose wires he said. It puzzled me for years until one night I could not sleep and I was reading a paranormal activity book and just as I was about to fall asleep bang I was wide awake with what it was slidding look it up.

I forgot to mention that the background of that bothersome "electrokinetic" phenomenon perhaps lies in the fact that dealing with Technical use of electricity is very new to the human organism - throughout human history we were confronted with stronger electric fields during and before storms but not permanently. Moreover people felt very uneasy about technical electricity when it started spreading, they felt it to be a two-edged sword - which it really is.
Maybe some of us involuntarily developed this light-out or computer-crash thing as a mechanism of defence against all-pervading presende of electric devices. Another reaction to them is more known and occurs frequently: people feeling uneasy, nervous, or getting headaches if having to use a cell-phone or working a computer for longer periods of time, or if living near to devices that make strong electric fields, as those well-known big masts with lots of high-voltage cables on them...
On a web site about 2011/12 Web Bot predictions I found the idea that solar electric fields could rise to a peak during next years and thus not only cause north-lights all over the world but also ruin electric and electronic devices worldwide. There has been a similar event in the 1850s which destroyed the first electric devices that already existed then.
If this happened it would mean catastrophic consequences - chemical factories or even nuclear plants coming to burn down all over world... The failure of electric power for cities that is mentioned as worst consequence would NOT be the worst one, this would be manageable at least to those who luckily are not fully dependent to city-comforts of life yet, but such factories blowing up is horrible to think of.
I meself think even something more "crazy" possible for near future: people becoming inimical to modern technologies at least in part (which would happen for good reasons though it is not wishable at all).
The "electrokinetic" persons then would be able to use their gift for sabotage of technical items that they hate. Electrokineticists imagine around you a modern war where nearly everything is done by computers - what would you do with your gift then if you hate wars? (For all cops, GIs, spies and other governmental watchdogs here - I make no suggestion I only think over by logic what would be possible!)

I've been reading several stories here which are about electric and / or electronic things failing when a certain person is near them. Most of the time this did NOT happen for a purpose, but it was only a "side-effect" of their person which even caused problems in daily life to them.

I suppose this "electrokinetic" property of some people will in a quite near future be researchable and explicable by scientific measurings, and then it perhaps will help to prove that living beings really have an aura. It is a bio-electric phenomenon but not a really spiritual or psychic thing.

Don't puzzle your mind about its "meaning". Ignore it, or see it as a whim of Nature.

This rekindled a memory of when I was a kid. Street lights turning on and off as I passed by happened to me all the time. It sometimes still does. I've had odd psychic experiences happen throughout my life. It's kind of settle down now that I'm older but when I was younger even into my 20's I didn't know how to control it. I also did a lot of prayer for guidance and wisdom in knowing what was good and what wasn't. Believe me... There is a lot of bad out there that tries to play with our minds and stray us away. There are some things that happen that we just don't understand. The important thing is to not let it overwhelm you or scare you.

The light thing happens to me as well and my boyfriend. I'm not really sure what it means but it might just have to do with the energy you are giving off at the moment, or possibly taking in. It is an interesting anomaly though...

This sounds a lot like some of the things I'm dealing with now, throughout my life the strange happenings have changed. I wish I could offer some clue as to what is going on, but I, myself have no clue. I've tried several sites, and got no reply; maybe if you tried a few different sites, as well as this one, maybe you will get a clue. 😲

Beside do anyone know any more info I can research on it so I can find out more about this situation... Ill appericate your help. Thanks

The thing is that I'm hearing impaired. I can't hear much, I do also seeing things and touch by "spirits" few times. Like for 2 weeks or so before my mom passed away 3 years ago. I see black shadow following me or see them pass by. After she died, its stopped. I wondering why. As for the street lights, it keep turn off when I pass by. I find it odd, but who would want to contact me and for what reasons?

hey I have tryed that you dream something and one day they come to life. About the lights that could be someone trying to contact you are the light have a failure but since it was dark that is pretty scary. You could possible be a physic then you experince dreams that come true. But can you hear some voices talk to you? Try listen what the voices says if you hear them you wil easyer understand what's going on:)
