I have become a psychic quite late, in my fourties, due to a traumatic separation, which made all things familiar to me change and vanish.
This total change and lack of safety opened my third eye in two years time, but I was interested before also in spirituality. Today I do small readings for some who come to see me, but not professionally. I have been lucky, since I have three psychics who teach me and protect.
Mostly psychics are quite alone with their spiritual visitors or the phenomenons they come across. After a while, all this becomes daily life mixed in with normal daily routines. Just like the sun comes up every morning, so do the different energies effect around us. It is not mystical in anyway, we just have to learn to understand the ways of the spiritual world and how it communicates with figures, light, form, energy feelings etc.
I would like to share with you some guidelines, that you can always hold on to if you are new in experiencing psychic visions or other things happening around you. Most new psychics are very alone when they begin having experiences that they cannot always understand.
There is so-called white light energy, which is love, the good and which always to be aimed for to keep inside our heart and body. Then there is negative, dark energy, which should be avoided. The negative energy has its own effects in what it draws towards.
A psychic is more like a magnet in what we draw into our energy field. We should always take care, that only pure energy is in our heart. We should never want ill for any human being in any condition or situation. This mode inside us protects us from pulling negative energy towards. If the energy is pure and good, nothing we see, can hurt.
When one is beginning to experience psychic things, it means in my mind, that God is calling to help other people with the skill.
Most spirits or figures that come around us and display themselves to be seen, usually have a message to give. They want to use the psychic as someone who takes the message forward. It is important to ask these beings, entities or figures, what it is they want. Calmly to just ask and without fear. They do not usually want anything bad, but to be heard or seen. Usually something has been left undone or they want to help someone for them to come close. Dangerous things are only amongst the living, but spiritual experiences can be confusing and negative energy can effect, when one is sensitive to energies.
The spirits can make us uncomfortable, but they need something and this can be healed. It is all about understanding their communication.
There are two kinds of commands in the Universe- one is to to calmly explain the need for a change and asking for it and the other to tell the Universe exactly what it is we want. This is not easy, because most people know what they do not want, but cannot define precisely way what one truly in ones heart wants. It is important to ask in your heart what it really deep down wants from the Universe in certain situations.
Love is always number one. Love is not the same as desire. Love is unconditional and wise. Learn to know the nature of true love and always hold it in your heart. Hold it there when making decisions, when helping others and when trying to read and understand spirits, phenomenons of the psychic understanding and peoples behaviour.
It is also important to maintain own energy and not let it flow out. Protect your own energy field and choose where to help so that help does help. Keep energy safe from negative energy. If you feel the so-called negative energy attacks, make your energy field stronger.
Keep yourself in high value, but not in an egoistic way.

I see spirits around me that have shadow kind of light and bright light. The ones that come to my left side, come from past and the ones on my right side are amongst the living. All is about some message to give. Someone might be in trouble, passing to the other side, changing or wants to tell something. I have learned to love these little spirits that come to see me and I listen to my intuition always.
One time I was walking past an old, huge tree. I suddenly had a strong urge to put my left palm on that tree and to swop energy with it. The next day I passed the same place, but they had chopped it down. The energy and spirits inside came out using me.
