What Do Other People Think And React About Your Ability?

I'm from Vietnam and I have to say that my country is not very modern. In another country like US or UK, it may be normal to have a special ability and there are a lot of people like us, who believed and help us when we suffered from difficulty in control an ability. But there are also a lot of people who don't understand us and think we are insane or dangerous (which we don't).For example, in my country if you say you have an ability like telepathy or clairvoyant, some people would laugh or think we are joking or some, worse, would say: 'Are you crazy?' with a weird look on their face. Or if you proved to them and they do believed you, they would sent you in hospital and check your brain if you are normal or not. It is harsh but it's true.

This morning nearly any popular newspapers and some channel in Vietnam had a big title: A girl set everything on fire just by looking at it. This is the story: An 11 years old girl in Ho Chi Minh city (A big city in Vietnam) had set a room in an apartment on fire just by looking at it. Her family said that she is a normal girl like everybody else when one day, everything around her started burning. She had burnt some stuff in her house and damaged some public stuff when she went outside to go to school. Her family had taken her to a hospital and her body is OK. A professional in Vietnamese Society of Dowsers said her RFI (an equipment which show in details about her aura and her bioenergetics) showing she had problem in her right cerebral hemisphere (sorry if you don't understand this sentence, I don't know how to translate this one, please search google for more accurate sentence because this is very important). Her family is worry that she's had some serious illness because they had never seen anyone done that before. Some doctors in Vietnam make her wear a quartz ring to balanced her right hemisphere but she was convulsed so they had to took it out. Some people asked her how did she do or feel when she burn something and she said that she didn't meant to do anything, she just felt a little bit tired when she did that. Her family had taken her to other country to help her with this 'illness'. The doctors say they will try their best to help her stop this from happening.

And here is my opinion: I have never been good at science and I don't really understand what exactly the doctor will do to help her, but from what I have known and read, the doctors are trying their best to block her ability (pyrokinesis-control fire). Some people had acted like she is some serious killer but mostly are curious and some even gave crazy advice which can have a bad affect on her. The problem is that most people don't understand and don't believe us, think we are different (in a bad way) and all the abilities we have is a joke. You may feel that there are a lot of website like this proved that people really do care about psychic stuff but how many of them take that serious? About 5000,10000?It may sound a lot but if you compare it with the world population you will find out how small it is. How many people out there deny what happen in front of their eyes, deny us and deny who they really are?

I'm sorry if I sound a little dramatic but it's true. This is real world, not 'x-men' or 'superhero' so please take it serious and discuss with me what do you think about it? What do other people think and react about you? What do the scientist do if they know all of the special abilities we have is true?

I don't think humans have the ability to control fire, wind etc. Maybe an evil spirit is attached to her. Because it certainly isn't an angel of God.

To make fire you need three simple elements. Oxygen a fuel and a spark of some sort. This story does seem a little fake to me. Unless the girl picked up a lighter with telekinesis then I'm going to be skeptical.:P

I've been lucky so far in who I tell about my abilities. That's probably because all the people I tell are open minded and have had there own experiences. So far no one has threatened to burn me at the stake or dissect me, but I'm still very cautious about who I tell. I've only told 4 people. Three of which are immediate family and the other one is my best friend.

I found this "article" or what you want to call it very interesting.

My name is Emily and I have the ability to control the wind. But I don't like calling myself aerokinetic or something. I am who I am only I can do things most of the people can't.

When I was a child I told my friends about it and they kind of followed me and tried to see if they also had any special gift. From what I remember some of them could actually do what I did with wind but thinking it now I realise that it may be myself controlling what they did unconciously just to have someone who was the same I am.

I also tried to see if my sister was like me, and even if I tried very hard to train her ability I don't really know if she has one. I though she may since we are sisters, but she happened to not have any.

But that was all long ago and we've all grown up. But the age of 17 I begun thinking I may be making all the power things up. That all was a kid's game. My friends, and my sister younger that me, they thought that were just games and even though it kind of hurt me when they joked around "Hey! Do you remember when we thought we had powers?" I had to answer "Yeah, haha we were stupid" so within the time I begun thinking it was really stupid to keep believing that and not also stupid but childish. But now, at the age of 18 I realised I have to stop denying what I am.

And even if I want to tell my best friend about it and I can't, even if I want to tell my family but I can't.

Despite all of that, I won't ever hide what I am from myself. And from now on I'll embrace it.

It is true that we are not super heros. It is true that we are not one from X-Man. But it is also true that we are who we are. And we'll be who we are. And with or without everyone else's support we must never forget that we are gifted.

Wendy--

Sorry my comments have not been about your thread! I seem to be losing my ability to concentrate! Awk!

Don't feel lonely--in US or UK, most people still think these concepts are crazy.

I hang out on these sites often for the last few years and, just when I think that there are certain concepts that "everyone" accepts, I'll hear comments by a newscaster or on a show about these "crazy" ideas.

People are medicated to make these ideas go away because society is not yet comfortable with the idea that we all are creators--in thought, in many ways. Many are comfortable with putting creation, telepathy in the hands of a God of some type, but don't want to take the responsibility, the birthright unto ourselves.

So, yes, this is the "real world" and in the real world, one must be really careful whom to share with. I won't carry a lot of fear. I know I'm not crazy. But I also don't want to attract the wrong kind of attention.

In my first (and only) Out of body experience, I was given direction to be careful about sharing this information.

I do think some countries have certain superstitions still in them. Fire-starting might be one that people fear.

This poor girl who starts the fires needs to be able to control her abilities if she ever gets the eyes of the world off of her again. I can only wish her well.

Thanks for your comments. It is good to be reminded, even in the middle of those who can understand.

Thunder--

I think psychics know other psychics WITHOUT seeing them! 😁

Although, unlike being pregnant, I think you can be "a little bit psychic"! Or, rather, the abilities are developing. So, until development reaches a certain level, one might not be able to sense others with abilities. It all depends on the abilities, I suppose.

You and you niece can now bounce ideas off each other, validate visions. It is such a gift to have her near you. You don't have to convince others--you two know.

Keep on growing and your vibration with help others to more abilities!

IslVoter~ I agrees with you and it also amazing how my niece know that I can see spirit when I never told anyone before... Do you think that other psychic can distinguish other psychic simply by just looking at them?

Thunderstorm--

Just a comment: Your abilities may have been given a boost by living near the girl with abilities. It's all about resonance with another vibration. We do affect each other.

In the same way you can feel it in a room you just entered where a fight had occurred, you begin to resonate at the same rate as people you are around, to some extent. And, yes, being around negative people can reduce your vibration if you're not aware to some extent.

You had abilities already (as we all do) but this person brought them out. That too was probably not accidental in your life. 😊

It's all rather grand, I think!

I know how it felt to have the feeling of no one believing you nor your abilities... Until now, I haven't told my family about my abilities of being able to control weather, wind, empathy and healing because I'm simply afraid to what they might react to it... However, they discovered my new found ability to see spirits when my niece (who is also able to see spirit) told them that I could see what see could... She wants to prove to everyone, especially her mother, that she really could see spirit... The truth is, she sees spirit ever since she was little and I started being able to see when her family moved in next door... This what's weird me, could I've gotten her ability? Back to the topic, I told one of my best friend about my abilities and he thought that I was joking but I managed to convinced him when I made a sunny day turns cloudy and later raining heavily... But I don't know how will the adults react if I tell them... For now, let it be our little secret 😉

Hey wendy. That was really interesting story you told. A girl who has strong pyrokinesis. Thats really awesome. Not everyone can control fire you know. I can only increase my body temperature but I can't control it just move it from left to right. Thats all I can do. Normal people think that those who actually have strong psychic abilities are just sick because they are not gifted like us. Its natural for people to think that something greater than their thinking is abnormal but in fact they are ignorant of the truth and can't accept it. So its much better if you keep these abilities a secret from normal people and share it with others like you. Try to help people as much as you can and never misuse such great gifts because you have to answer to God one day. I wouldn't pay attention to what people say if I were you. Just live a happy life and help others in need. Take care and bye. 😁

Since I'm intersted in this matter and happen to live in Vietnam, I've been following this intriguing story as well. Now those "scientists" have jumped to a conclusion that the girl intentionally set those things on fire with man-made tools (such as lighter, match...) to get attention. Why isn't professor Xavier here yet? Does he only deal with American subjects? His Cerebro cannot detect people in this part of the world (Vietnam)? This case should not be overlooked. I don't think our scientists have the technology or minds to study this girl...

Hey i'm just going to say what I think I have to say and because the person I need to read this I know know it's not being psychic it's simply being insane well part of me that's the weird part I know i'm insane but I still hold back and need feelings so I gave up and tried to converse with the side that's insane bu perfect in every way my happy side is not. Look every thing holds patterns and I can hold them in and let them in me. At first I thought I was very scared but really I can change certain things on will but my will now is to make every one to be happy and that can only be achieved my not dying so everyone wants that no matter what they say I can feel the patterns of they universe but I also feel condemned by being on earth.
All I can do is fill the universe with pink love and send every thing else to the patterns that exclude us from their being so for now don't be scared of the love.

There is a famous dr in the US, his name is Dr.Oz. He did a study on the difference between a normal brain, and a mediums brain when they are channelling. They did some sort of test to determine if there was a difference. It showed that the medium was using a different part of their brain and to a higher level then a normal humans.
However just because there is proof of abilities like these doesn't mean that some people will believe. A lot of people can't grasp this concept and unfortunately will say things like we are fake or crazy. The good thing is that you know the difference and that there are sites like this to help us connect to other people who understand this.
About how other people react it really all depends on the person. The only person I told was my cousin. At first she didn't believe me. (I have many abilities but so far I have only told her about my mediumship.) She gave me that look like " you're mental." At that point I didn't care if she thought I was, because her dad kept bugging me to give her a message. The only reason she believed me was because her dad brought up something that wouldn't ever be possible for me to know.
As of now I'm not telling anyone else because of how the first time went. Don't feel pressure to tell people. Who you tell and how and when you tell them is totally up to you. Good luck!

"Waste not the time trying to convince those that will not believe you, as that energy could be used elsewhere" (A Friend).

While it is sad that more people do not actively realize their abilities, I cannot blame people for their skepticism - I mean, pretend you never had the abilities you were born with, and then you see someone next to you burn a table to ashes with their mind? How would you feel?

For many people, they find it better to "be ignorant" because it fits with their lifestyle better. For example, even if there was 100% proof that God existed, an Atheist would still disagree.

Lately, I've seen more people "try" to convince others that what we experience is real, only to discover that there are those that try to "capitalize" off other's success (for example, if you type "Psychokinesis" in youtube, there is maybe one "real" video for every 100 "fake/hoax" videos). I've seen this on here before as well; People would claim they could "cause a mighty wind to blow around them" on here, completely disregarding that wind can come from any direction at any time.

I bring these examples up because sometimes people look for examples of these abilities, and find stories that appear to "fanatical" to believe, which in turn causes them to think what we have is bogus. Sadly, science teaches us "up is up, and down is down", but not that we could be upside down at this very moment (in other words, either this phenomenon exists or it's lies).

In short, people will continue to believe what they perceive, and for those of us that know otherwise, we don't need to convince them to continue to have experiences.

I get what you mean, I tried to tell my best friend about these 'feelings' I've been experiencing, and she said they were all coincidences, then later, kept making a joke out of my 'claim' that I was psychic. Most people just don't believe in the psychic world, just like calvinvalerian said. I've been having a tough time accepting that most people just don't believe this stuff, and it's better to just leave them where they are.

Don't worry. Just don't care about them. Not everyone is born psychic. You don't have to prove them who doesn't believe in psychic. Your fate is to help those who live at the same path as yours.

You don't have to tell them that you're a healer, telekinetic, telepathy, etc. They won't believe illogical abilities like that. They're so skeptical about these things.

I know it's so difficult facing this fact. Anyway this is real world buddy. This is world of no limitation. Limitation was made by human. And actually human can do their own miracle. This is the beauty of this world. We all humans are a representative of God but just different in the matter of speciality.

Some are good at maths, logic, chemistry, biology, radiology, history, psychology, telekinesis, seeing entities, seeing auras, pyrokinesis, atmokinesis, aerokinesis, etc.

Those who were born psychic like you and me would know this psychic gift is a real magic. I mean yes it's REAL MAGIC. No gimmick, no trick, it is pure nature's power. And this power is neutral depends to what direction you want it to be, Good or Bad?

The good thing that this ability can be used e.g: lit up candles without matchstick, read the future to prevent fatal accidents, etc.

The bad thing can also be many like you say to a person in your heart "When you go home, you will be dead hit by a car". This free will can come true and I'm not messing with you. My driver has this ability and I was like 0.0 the fuk.

I live in a country which has tons of history about psychic ability and spiritualism. Here in Indonesia. Though not everyone is open about this topic. I only tell information like this to those who live in the same path like I do, those who can be trusted and will believe what I say.

I know that no one will ever believe that I made a 6 hours long rain that day. Yes, I'm at atmokinesis. I can control the rain and clouds. Just at will. And I have many several abilities. AND. Science will never ever can explain this. How a human will explain the world that is invisible by them? Impossible. Except that person is able to shift to another dimension and tell us exactly what he saw.

Science is the tool to understand the 3rd dimensional world. Why use science to explain what I did when I made the rain in the 4th dimensional world (my mind)?

Different tools measures different things.

Forget about skepticism of your folks. Focus in the development of your ability. Strangers cares no for you because they are too busy with their materialistic problems.

Enjoy this world. This is the universe of no limitation. Everything is possible when you try to figure it out!
