Sacrificing On The Astral Plane?

This is my first post:

I am speaking on behalf of someone very close to me, I hope that is ok. But this is rather nerve wracking and I have never read of another thing similar.

So what I believe is Astral travel, he calls dreams. But they are extremely lucid dreams, like it feels like he is still awake, and should be. The dream is relatively uncontrolled.

It's kind of hard to explain, but the dreams involve one person, willing to make a personal sacrifice, (of their life or a freedom) to bring good to someone else they care for.

Example: One of the dreams involved a man (he did not know) who told him he had gotten his family into a big debt, and he needed to die so his family could have the insurance money, (my friend) said yes (he cannot control his response, he always says yes). And within a very short period of time, on the news, was a report, a man had fallen while working on construction and died, and his family inherited a large sum of money through life insurance.

Another example is a friend of his' beloved uncle was in a coma and he was almost guaranteed not to come out of it, so before they were about to pull the plug, he dreamed of his friend, whom he asked what she would give to have her uncle back, she said she'd give her right arm, so he went to grab her arm, and woke up immediately and got a call within the next 24 hours saying his friend's uncle had come out of his coma miraculously and out of excitement his friend had fallen down the stairs and broke her right arm.

This has been happening for years, with a wide variation of stories, he is never intoxicated of any kind when they happen and he wakes up cold and sweating.

My theory is something between thaumaturgy and Astral travel/prediction. He's absolutely horrified by what he can accomplish while he's sleeping, and that he cannot control his response to the people's requests.

(Note: He has regular dreams, bizarre and silly ones just like the rest of us, that's what makes these projections so strange)

I look forward to your reply!

TaiBuscus you have the idea!
The individual is taking a ride, via the other person.

Yes in Projection one can, "view objectively, see symbolically, experience the situation.

There will be many more people experiencing this phenomenon.

As AnnV stated we can ask a question and see outcomes.
I have found for myself it takes an ability to clear the mind and much practice.

Good journey

and one other thing are you saying that your speaking on behalf of someone yet you yourself have knowledge of what your talking about (in good detail I might add) so i'm slightly confused did he write down these events in great detail and your summarizing them, was he next to you when you typed down this story or are you actually him? Because the way you explains things is really quite intellectually proficient and I only ask from this comment because your either finding out information for your friend and looking up these stories and bothering to comment on them (which is odd for someone trying to help out just one friend) or your him trying to find an explanation when your really trying to see who's fake and who's real? And if your not so sure about what a friend has, then why would you even think to tell others about it? Unless you've experienced these events yourself and understand the subject because you are your friend? Am I right or am I wrong?

[at] PathR So, in this case, his subconscious travels forward in time via Astral Plain, during a dream.
He is seeing what will happen, but seeing it like he is experiencing it, even though he is often not connected to the people involved.
What I have JUST hypothesized is *The reason he cannot control his response to someone's plea, is because he does not control the situation. It happens with or without his consent, his part in it is just simply to understand.*
The people in his dreams are NOT bartering life for life, it's just how it was meant to play out.

Thank you PathR. The second last message you sent me has been the most helpful.

If the conclusion I have come to was not what you were trying to express, enlighten me, I'm always up for learning.

Also I do not understand what you are trying to explain in the last paragraph. If you could add some detail, and talk a little more in teenspeak I would be grateful (:

Because our eternal soul is able to trancend time.
And by the essence of the soul-we can actually visualize the situation as if experiencing it.

It is referred to as Astral projection to travel in time, forward, backward, as it transpires.
See or experience is on a real zone, and this zone
Allows us to be like a mistle toes. In the essence
We are attached to the subject, and yet look at objective, and even see symbols which also serve
To verify what the subject is involved with.

Our mind is capable of see and in 3 dimension, and
This also involves the experience. Though many do not
Mention this. But with the energy moving as it is more
Will experience this.

I value your opinions, greatly. But I feel it doesn't quite answer my question.):
I want to know what it is, and why it is happening. I've found of couple of names for it, but it seems each time I find something about it, the name for it only describes part of what I'm trying to figure out.
He says he feels more like he initiates the 'trade' so to speak. Like he's a puppet to someone else, but he completes the action. He can never say no, but the outcome is completely reliant on his answer.

Thanks for your help.

I do agree that via astral projection: dreams are vivid.

And I agree with your friends story that we can experience an unknown stranger.
Even to include events of people around us close by.
Plus the future.

A few years ago I was alarmed, because my daily job was unfolding before the year unfolded.
What I learned is that the more we validate and see
The truth of the reality we eventually accept them and gain hope with the experiences.
This dispels fear.

Tell your friend it will become even more clearer during walking hours, for this will be the progress of
The next step.

Good journey

I agree with you that this is astral projection. The astral is free of time and space and it's quite common to be able to see the future (I wrote about that on my sister site, www.astralvoyage.com). You can either do this subconsciously, or actually ask a certain question but this ability is rare. Most people just 'dream' their astral state away.

How altruistic of your friend. He sounds like a good person.

Thanks for sharing.
