Is This Astral Travel?

I am posting this with the hope of receiving feedback from more experienced folk.

Last weekend I dreamt of a long time friend who I haven't spoken to in about 5 years. In the dream he was with a group of men and they were talking about making money. I kept trying to interrupt my friend to tell him something but he didn't seem to hear me.

The next day, I got an email from him saying he was in my city on a business trip and wanted to get together to catch up. I was so surprised and delighted and told him about my dream but he did not recall dreaming about me.

I would like to know what your opinions are about my dream. Does it indicate I was actually there but for some reason he could not see me - and if so, why not? Also, if it was an actual encounter, I was quite rude with trying to interrupt him as he was in a meeting. Is this evidence of the things I've read about being uninhibited and unrestrained in the astral? If so, I am glad he didn't see me. Overall, I would like to develop this ability more. I meditate regularly which I think is helping.

One other quick thing. My sister lives in another state. I dreamt she was making a strawberry pie. The next time we spoke (about a week later) I asked her if she had done this. She told me that yes, she had recently made a pie, but it was cherry (same color as strawberry) - and that she was thinking of me when she did so.

Is this thought transference? Or does me seeing her do it imply astral travel?

Any thoughts from experienced people would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you.
