Just about all the females in my family have the gift of being able to see spirits and hear them. My grandma has had it since she was a little girl and so has my mother. When my mom was about 2, her great grandma died and my mom never went to the funeral, but a few weeks after, my grandma was making lunch and she heard my mom go down the steps to open the door. My grandma asked her what she was doing and my mom told her that someone was at the door! Not listening to my grandma, my mom opened the door and shut it. When my mom finally came upstairs, she kept looking up at her side and smiling! My grandma asked my mom who was at the door since she opened it and my mom replied it was great grandma! So my grandma told my mom that that couldn't have been her because she passed away and my mom said "no she's HERE!". So my grandma asked my mom to tell her what great grandma was wearing and my mom told her the exact thing that she was buried in.

I've had it since I was young too. At first I just heard voices calling my name. The voices where of people that were still alive in my family. They would call my name and sometimes they would tell me to go to them. At one point, I heard my sister in the attic and I yelled to see what she wanted and she didn't say anything, then I heard it again and again. I didn't heard anything back so I kept yelling to her until she answered me and when she finally did, she was downstairs, she had just gotten home. I asked her why she was yelling for me and she said she wasn't.

The same day, I heard it again, but this time, it was my mom's voice. She was telling me to go to her and of course she was in the attic. I didn't go at first, I kept asking what she wanted and she didn't answer me, so I left it alone but then she called me again and this time I started going up the attic steps to see what she wanted and my mom yelled up to me from downstairs to get something for her in her car! I turned around so fast and literally flew down the steps!

I went through that once in my life hearing a voice and telling me what to do. Its really cool in a way that someone can put there voice inside of you and only you can hear them. Know one else can just be careful though don't do it in front of your friends because they will think your going mad only because they don't go through things like these.
