Psychic Dreams, Advice?

I've just joined the boards because I was looking for some people to listen and I guess provide advice for something that's been happening to me for the last. I'd say four years.

I have psychic dreams, they started out not being very strong, at first they were just little 'snippets' or images of things that I'd end up experiencing in the next few weeks and wouldn't particularly remember dreaming until they happened.

Lately, they've turned into mini-movies, I'll see entire scenes played out in a vivid dream, remember them in the morning, and experience them in reality that same day.

Take something that happened last summer for example, this is when they first started getting more vivid. My mother had lost her favorite pair of scissors, and we spent days looking for them with no luck. I went to bed a few nights after they were lost, dreamed that I was outside on our patio looking at the grill my mother uses when it's warm, I got closer to the grill and saw the pair of red scissors sitting on the right hand side panel of the grill. Then I woke up. When I saw my mom that morning she said, "Oh, guess what I found my scissors, they were-" I interrupted her and said, "Wait, were they on the grill?" She looked surprised and told me, yes that's where they were - I told her I had dreamt it, she believes completely psychic abilities.

The most recent one happened night before last, I had a dream I was repairing a broken figurine, sitting on the floor in front of my bed, I looked up and saw a cartoon crow on TV and it was talking. That night, I decided I was going to fix my Unicorn figurine with the broken horn. I sat on the floor to do it, looked up and Samurai Jack was on the TV - the first time in years I'd turned on Cartoon Network. The episode involved a talking pet crow.

Does anyone else have these sort of dreams? Are there ways to make it stronger and help remember them better upon waking up? Am I psychic or just going insane? I'd really appreciate advice on how to better develop psychic abilities if I have the potential... Thanks so much!

Hey I'm that way too! So what helped me to remember my dreams was a dream journal. As soon as you wake up take the journal and write what you remember from your dreams. After a while of this your mind will get used to it and allow you conscienceness during your dreams therefore allowing you to remember them after the fact. Also meditation will help you. Lay down and meditate the way. Your body will react to that because its like you're sleeping but you're still awake and so that's going to help when you're actually asleep. Or we'll it should. It helped me.

I have this too. I keep a dream journal so when I wake up I write down things I want to remember and I can look back at past dreasms and try to make sense of them. Hope this helps! Good Luck!

The exact same thing happened to me in October! I had a whole week where each night I had two dreams I could remember clearly after I woke up (still can now - like a movie scene) and later that day those things would happen to me. Now my dreams take longer time to actually happen and they aren't as frequent anymore, but I looked up ways to make this ability stronger and most people were talking about keeping a dream journal. Which I knew would never last, because frankly I'm too lazy for that or let's just say I'm not exactly a morning person and writing down my dreams right after I wake up would just not work you know:P But I figured out, that the dreams that do come true feel different... Like you said 'mini-movies' - they're just downloaded data in my brain and they never really fade away like normal dreams do. So I decided whenever a dream does feel like that - as ridiculous as it may seem - I will take some notes about the things that happened.
