I have been told that I have a gift but I'm not sure and I think this is the place to look.
I keep having short visions of the future. They come at random points in my life. I will see a scene, people, and sometimes a few numbers. I will usually tell people or write it down and several days/weeks/months later, I will find myself in that situation. These little bursts of information only last a few seconds and I have a hard time remembering what I saw after about 10 minutes. When I'm 'having the vision' for lack of a better term, its like a movie inside my head, similar to the feeling of reading a book and having it play in your head (if that makes any sense). For example, I'll be completely zoned out for about 10 seconds and then I'll write down something like,
* Me and Emily in the car
* Rainy day
* Listening to Journey
* AGF-1643 license plate of the car in front of us
Later in my life the exact situation will happen, exactly how it was played out in my head, it feels like déjà vu but when I pull out the paper with all of the information on it, its unusual.
These little episodes usually are insignificant things (such as the above example). It's been happening for about 2 years now and I have overlooked it as being normal. No one seems to know what's happening to me and I am genuinely curious. If this is a gift then can I control it and understand it more? Is this happening to anyone else?
I don't consider myself a psychic but I would like to know if what's happening to me is normal, does this happen to everyone?
