hi I am new here. Anyways I just want to tell you that the same thing happens with me. Not only just rain, I mean water. Like rivers, lakes, ponds.i think I can control the element water. I love rain. It IS beautiful. What happens to me is that when I feel bad or dissapointed I sing. And when I sing, even its the rainy season or summer or winter, after 1 or 2 minutes it starts to rain. How lovely. ❀and sometimes I just can tell whether it will rain for the next hours and how much. And unexpectedly it comes true. 😁

Thanks, thewind, I'm not really in need of help, though, just curious for more info.
If you do manage to get energy, it will feel quite exhilerating, so you'll know for sure.
I'm not sure how to help with getting energy, because it's always been with me, but I can help you see energy if you want.

It's all in the peripheral vision. (for me anwyay.)

Let your eyes go out of focus, and use your peripheral vision to look, don't move your eyes because this will automatically refocus them. I first saw energy around my hand, other people find it easier to start with animals or plants. Let me know if this helps ^_^.

Rain gives you energy? I wish I could get energy off something like you. I have aerokinesis, so I tried to absorb energy from the air. I think it worked, but I'm unsure. I'd start to feel like I had more energy in me, and I'd jerk randomly. I think it was to use up the excess energy. I was trying to overload myself just to see what would happen. But I can't see energy like you, so I'm unsure. Anyways, I can't think of a way to help. Sorry. 😒

I never liked the rain like cats I wouldn't want to get wet. Now that I think that I'm developing as an empath one morning I was siting at my balcony and all of a sudden it started to rain. I was feeling overwhelmed before and the rain eased my pain. It was nice. Now I'm hoping that it will rain any day soon so I can get out and get all wet!

thanks ^_^ great song. I'm a musician who loves any kind of music you can name, and a few you can't so I'll listen to just about any song in the rain.

Here's one I've had stuck in my head recently. I think this one's a good rain song. Http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8AWFf7EAc4

WanderingWayne, this has happened to me before ^_^. The most time I've had pass was two hours... By that I was shivering, soaked, numb, but still completely happy. Rain, to me, is music. Sometime's I'll go outside and play music back to the rain.
I could listen to the rain forever. Unfortunately, I live on the other side of the country; rainfall isn't exactly scarce, but it doesn't happen nearly enough for my likeing.

Rain is one of the few things that truely connects the earth and the sky.

I was walking in the woods once and it started to rain. I stood under a large Cedar tree and started listening to the rain drops. I tried to hear each individual drop of rain hitting the leaves and the sound each one makes. Kind of like each drop hit a different musical note in a way. I had looked at my watch just as I stepped under the tree. The next thing I was wondering how I had gotten wet through my jacket so quickly and looked at my watch. I had lost 20 minute. No memory of it at all. I walked back to the truck and drove home. All that evening I had the most pleasant feeling like all was right with the world. Just so mellow and happy that I couldn't have thought a bad thought or had a care in the world. I have tried to do this a few other times and have gotten some of this strange good feeling back a couple other times by listening to the individual sounds of the rain drops hitting the leaves. Wish I could do it at will. I live in the Pacific Northwest. We all complain about to much rain here, but at times I love being in the woods in the rain, watching for animals or standing and listening. There definitely is something special about the rain for those who look for it.

I know how you feel about the rain. I love it too. It doesn't energize me, but I always thought it seems magickal. Its water pouring down from the sky! It seems like a miracle to me! ❀

skywire, I'm not sure myself why I love rain, that's one reason I posted this.

Spirit-energy, good! I'm glad someone got it! It was really pouring when I sent the energy, so I figured some must get through.

JJHafford, I'm not sure the Chinese astrological signs apply to me, I'm a Tauros, and thus supposed to be an earth element. I do feel a major connection with the Celtic version of the Zodiac, however. My sign is the willow. I have a huge weeping-willow in my front yard, so...

Prairieflower, the city has a lot of energy too, but has a lot of psychic-pollution (that's what I call it). I know what you mean. I'm pretty sure your soul is fine, but your energy field in general has probably picked up a bunch of stuff.

Anyway, I've been sick lately, I think it might be because I tried to make it rain and it rained way too hard... I'll just take energy from the rain now when it comes lol.

I definitely love the rain, when it's warm but kind of stormy with thunder and lightning. It's pretty mystical to me.

Though, I'm also very connected with the other elements as well. I've had an ongoing fascination with fire when I was in middle school, but now I tend to prefer the wind and the earth to it. I love a strong breeze, I always want to run with it, following it wherever it leads me. Something about the movement and continuity just makes me feel instantly freer. And I love the earth, running through fields of tall grass and wildflowers. *Sigh* Writing this is making me realise how bad city life is getting to be for my soul... XP

After reading the replies to your post I believe that your Astro Sign has a lot to do with the affinity to rain. I'm a Pisces and I know exactly how you feel about the rain. It has been raining here for the past 3 days and now that everything is saturated outside I feel energetic and happy. When conditions are dry I either take a long swim or a long shower just to get my energy back.

Hey you mispelled my name there or is it intentional or not? Please reply. Do I really made it rain in your country? Please I need your reply asap. If I had made it rain in your country then my story really is true because I am confused myself if I really can make it rain or just predicting it.

You made it rain too much here in Australia, our school looks like its flooding -____-, but the farmers say thanks:D.
Rain
I am wondering how you feel happy with rain pouring down on you...
I hate water but I love the coldness of ice and the dark of night. My friends at school say when they look at me they see ice in my eyes and they say my skin is always cold (I'm guessing they are thinking of me as a vampire). When I feel happy they look in my eyes and see darkness. One of my friend said that they always feel so weak when she comes near me and sees no light in me only a dark fire around me They are creeped out these days, I wonder why πŸ˜•.

The Full moon is a source of power for me too, but I think it has power over you as opposed to rain, which you may call if needed. The moon's phases can't be changed. Also you might notice particularly weird, interesting or clear dreams on the night of the full, or the new moon.

I kind of know how you feel I'm that exact same way with the full moon. I don't sleep on those nights. I love to just be out in the moon light in the deep forest around my house It just feels like it hits something so primal in me. It energizes and it just feels like its the first time I can really breathe.

Hiya, my first reply:)

I find it interesting how you get energy from the rain. I don't really understand things that happen to me but I feel an affinity with the rain.

I always get a feeling of renewal when it rains, it makes me feel very 'alive' I don't know if this means the same as energy? My partner used to tell me that it was because of my star sign that it was natural for me to like water, but I have recently began to think it was something more.

hello, I am a pices...
I have a deep connection with the rain, its almost like I am the most powerfull when it is raining... Although my element is ment to be water I can control the wind~ weirdly enough... I am always saying be carefull what you say to the wind becuse it carrys secreats... When it rains (this sound crazy and I thought I was for very long) my pupils dilate and I can see the future, predict things and somtimes talk to the spirits... Its nice to hear others get powerd by the rain too.
I was also wondering to any one who can help me how to get in contact with my spirit guides...
Peace be wuth you.

To answer your questions in general, I'm Taurus, which is an earth sign. I like trees etc., so this kind of makes sense. But my true affinity is for rain, not for water itself. (Although I am an amazing swimmer since the age of four.) I'm not really sure about my chart. I've never really had any readings.

Part of it is, I tend to try to avoid knowing the future. When I was a kid, I'd actually go out of my way to not look for my birthday presents etc. Lol.

Also, I've never tryed calling the rain. I think I might become addicted to it, thus causing all sorts of environmental problems lol.

It's storming as I write this. I'll put some energy into these words. Feel free to take some if you know how ^_^.

same with me. I feel better out in a rainstorm and I sleep better during one. I love walking around in it, it feels like it cleans me inside and out, purifying me. I tried to get it to pour harder or stop once, and it worked. I feel connected to wind too, but I love the earth. Fire is the only element I tend to not have an affinity for, but I try not to leave it out when I'm working with the other ones.

I work with energy too. I see it in the air and see my own when I relax my eyes. Its almost like I'm looking through something else to see it. Lately it hasnt taken much effort to see at all, and I'm wondering why. I see my aura in peices and sometimes others =] but I love working with energy. I feel it around me and love pushing out my own, like stretching out a rubber band.

Welp, blessed be =]
I hope you find everyting you're looking for and I hope you always feel at home in a rainstorm =]

I went to high school with a guy named rain. He had a collection of songs or poems, and he used to like to read them to us girls. He never told me why his name was rain, I didn't try to find out either. I like your story, it is heart warming. Are you a water sign? I am not claiming that as a psychic question, Its just that I am an airies and I have a profound connection with the fog and I am adversive to the sun a lot of times, which I wonder about. Does the rain have a connection with your chart at all? I would like to know more.

I love the rain. I know exactly how you feel! I am a water elemental or atleast a rain one! The other day I was worried my mom was going to get in a accident because of the rain, so I went outside and asked the rain to stop so my mom wouldn't get hurt. After a few seconds the rain was getting a lot lighter and in about two minutes it had stopped completely! And I'm aways in high spirits when its raining. Or when Its foggy the fog is wonderful!

I personally am not a huge fan of rain.
But that's just cause my element is fire. Fire, water, don't mix. Too cold, to wet.
But I do love fire and it fills me with energy just as rain does to you. I also seem to not burn in the sun as easily as others, or get too hot near a fire. Fire also tends to do as I ask. If I say get bigger, it usually will. Get smaller, sometimes.
Also, I can sometimes see images in the flames and can completly get lost in the fire.
We all have an element. The main ones would be: Wind/Air, Fire, Earth, and Water. Some people even continue these elements to Rain, Storm, Ice, Light, Death, Sand, etc...

Blessed be

I prefer the title protector/healer:) then again I don't really know what to call myself considering I have done so many things:/ and I did some studying on my natural element and it says its wind I mean wind is really high up there right next to water though... And as for the names of chi and all that I don't like to title it because even though I toy with it all I think of is energy just seems kind of fitting and also if you don't mind me asking how old are you 14-15 keeps popping in my head but I'm more then likely off:p and I know I'm way off the topic but my concentration is far off rigth now because I keep seeing things move and hearing things when its just me and my cat next to me:) I tried askin whatever it is to show itself but nothin:/ any ideas? Been actually trying to push out my energy to it but I don't think its enough (I heard from boards and people that is how they move things and show themselves) so I guess in a way its kind of working but not strong enough or somethin

Keeper of the weather. I like the title, but it feels sometimes more like the weather is keeping me ^_^.

Josh12490, yes I do and can. I have a habit of calling this energy 'aura' because that's what I learned it as. It is also calle chi, prana, etc.

I can release and focus it, but I am not very good at it. When it rains, I have enough energy that it makes up for incompitence on my part, however. I can still power through on not-rainy days, but it usually leaves me feeling tired and spent.

Interestingly enough, I'm a Taurus, and supposed to be an earth element. I'm not sure what my element is, but I'm certain it's not air or fire.

This is interesting I have always loved water also the other elements also of course but water is just my thing I also found it very fitting as I'm an aquarius:) but you also said it fills you with energy I had always found it very lifting like I'm a brand new person when I'm in the water but I never really put two and two together I was wondering since you feel about the same way about all this if you could concentrate youre energy to your body parts or to send it out and well feel like youre releasing mass amounts of youre energy (I can also feel like a almost slight pressure but its not really a pressure when I do kind feels like wind is whirling very fast around my hand) and as I can see my energy I notice it grows by far and you were saying you had control of youre energy or what have you and was wondering if maby you could do the same sorry if I got a little bit off topic I tend to get a bit drawn out in these subjects as I have had a hard time finding people like me and then I come here to find a lot that can describe theyre experiences to a t of what happened with me

You know Rain, how so often people ask the question 'Am I psychic or am I crazy?' I think we're all a little of both. ^^ How can we not be, with all the wacky stuff we have to deal with? Walking about in the rain, being woken up by ghosts, seeing colours floating around peoples' heads... It makes for an interesting life though.

Hey, thanks for the great posts! ^_^
Lasker2, thanks that's exactly the type of info I've been looking for, so thank you very much!
Rilan and simonshx, I know exactly what you mean. ^_^ I'll be walking around (sometimes in freezing rain) smiling and people will look at me like I'm crazy. Maybe I am ^_^.

Adaryn7, I have no memories of past lives, but I would not be suprised at all if I was some sort of plant at some point.

I just wish the weathermen in my area were more accurate! I get so dissapointed when they're wrong about rain lol. (They say it's going to rain tommorow and the next day, so my fingers are crossed lol)

I have the exact same connection with Rain. I think that everybody is "connected" through an element. There was a post here some while ago about that. I did some study on Gods and such, and it seems that I have been "touched" or "marked" by an good entity that has to do with Plants and Rain.

As I said in another post, abilities can pass down from generation to generation. You almost certainly got these from your grandfather:)

I love the rain. I love it so much that I basically swim in it, my teachers always yell at me because of that. I also feel that I have a connection with plants, that they love me, I always try to protect them (if I can). My idiot friend almost stepped on a beautiful and delicate Tulip-white plant, I pushed him out of the way before he could. I didn't feel a "thank you" from the plant, but I felt great nevertheless. Sometimes plants "stick" to me on purpose with their thorns and pointy edges.

I have exactly the same rain affinity as you--not as much with non-raining storms, although those do give me some energy, but a lot with rain. I get tons of energy from rain and I can't stand to not be outside when its raining. It just feels so amazing when its raining that I am convinced the rain is a living entity. I just know. I had to call her something, so I call her Ylishumatra, a name that popped into my head one day. I think the rain is somehow female. Or at least part of it--the part that I know. But lately, I have not had as much of a connection. I just don't feel the same way when its raining. And I really want to be connected again.

Modern weather science attributes rainfall to a build-up of condensation.

This is only half the story: another aspect of rainfall is the build-up of ether in the atmosphere. There are barriers made out of ether at various atmospheric levels (or chi/prana/ki/etc). These barriers alter our moods and energy levels.

Different energy sources can be drawn from: the Sun, the ground, rain, fire. And different people are aligned with different sources.
