My Past Life

My name is Mandy. I'm 21 years old and have been having these visions into my past life since I was a child. So I researched my family history but found nothing relevant to the time period I keep having visions about.

You see, at totally random times, maybe at night right before a deep sleep, or maybe when I'm on my way to work or school and my eyes kind of focus on one thing but my mind swims back in time for mere minutes which is always around the time of King Henry VIII. I have dreams about it too, very vivid, and sometimes disturbing. I also find myself quoting facts about that time period that I knew nothing of previously and have never read anywhere before. Sometimes when I close my eyes I see like a movie playing inside my head; always different, always changing, but never actually changing.

One dream I'll never forget, I was in this dark room, with only 1 candle. I was dressed in fine clothes for that time period. I felt my hair which was pinned up with a hood. A door opened and a man with dark eyes and hair came towards me and said something to me, but I couldn't understand. I felt myself shaking my head and trying to say something, but I couldn't. He grabbed my hand and led me down a long brightly lit corridor and stopped at a huge door at the opposite end. It opened for me and this gentleman as if by magic, and when I walked in there was some sort of party. Some people were dancing, some drinking deeply, others just standing around looking at everyone in the room like me. Then a woman came up to me. She was not very pretty and she was tall, way taller than I was. She also had dark hair and eyes like the gentleman who brought me there. She was laughing very jovially and she stood in front of me smiling, and all I heard was "Oh, Lady, why aren't you dancing?" When I woke up, I had to shake myself back to reality. I even remember smelling a faint stench of cooked food and smoke.
