Altered Aura?

Since I was a kid I've always been able to see strange things that I just thought were normal, but only recently did I find out that they weren't. I could go on and on about each and every experience, but I need help finding information on a certain topic. Last year I figured out that I could also see aura's because a teacher pointed it out to me what I was already seeing was in fact an aura after he demonstrated how to properly see them. This morning in class a friend of mine who knows a little about auras told me about what she sees around me sometimes because it came up in our conversation.

I told her that this morning I was outside for a moment and it was below freezing, yet my body felt extremely warm and the cold kind of hovered over my body. It felt like I was wearing a really warm wet suit. I ended up telling her that I felt as if there was smoke rising from my body, and to my surprise she tells me she has seen smoke rising from my body several times before this. I asked her if she was sure, and I also asked if there was smoke coming from me now, and she said no. I was shocked because she was the third person of my friends to tell me that they've seen smoke rise from my body. I also noticed that they all possessed a more intuitive side then most of my friends, and whenever my friends would tell me that they've seen smoke rising from my body I would try for the next several days to try and see if I could spot this happening.

Unfortunately I have not been able to see it, but sometimes I would get the feeling like smoke was rising from my body. I've ran it through my mind several times trying to find a reason why this was happening to me, and why some people could see it yet I could not. I think it may have to do with my emotions, a different type of aura, or how my body reacts to other people. I even thought it was because I was Native American.

I need help trying to figure out if this means something. If anyone has had this happen to them, please share with me your thoughts, and if anyone knows what and why this is happening I would deeply appreciate your input.

I've seen a friend of mine use smoke to show off their spirit energy I've done it myself although with help from my friend I was told I have a lot of energy and many different aura colors so maybe that's why I had a hard time controlling it and you yourself may not be able to easily see it because you have so much energy you lack physical control of it anyone who has questions on aura and spirit energy email me I know more then what I post

my friend can see aura and has told me mine is a mixture of colors she has never seen anyone have. She says it is a bright red and orange too also theere is a few shades of blew and black streaks. I can see my aura faintly but I'm just starting to get the hang of seeing them I'm 13 but I have strange abilities of my own. Please read my stories

Using any search engine type in "photos of spirit energy". You will learn about what I am describing. Perhaps ectoplasma isn't the correct word but it is the closest I can come to a label. To me it is really more like a form of astrophysical plasma.

I believe we are LIKE smoke as in temporal, ephemeral beings- having spirit substance which is carried off or dispersed easily by the wind.

Also the term Shaman INCLUDES medicine people. It is the term that best describes someone with my abilities.

I attended One of the main spiritual colleges here in England one of the presidents Sir Arthur Connan Doyle, Leadbeater, Bailey all did writtings here.
Much material. And during my studies no one mentions when one is standing or praying is there any smoke eminating out of them.
Let us look at this in their contents.

Prayers are used with sacred plants carry our prayers. It just wears me out the misconceptions.
Emily with the Shonshones spoke of our true spirit as smoke, but being an oral tradition, I guess according to most it does not count?

As for Shamans this is a western word that is not a NA word, we only Believe in Medicine people, and the medicine is so strong it is unbelievable. I work in medicine ways but this other thinking I can never understand. You will need to look and speak to elders and look within yourself.
No I do not think smoke eminating is only NA, but I never hear them speak your scenario or mine.

Having given this further thought and study, as a Shaman I know that native american belief stresses that we are all one. White man, red man etc etc all one. So to think this "smoke" incident is happening only to native americans does not follow in NA cultural beliefs. Smoke is used to send prayers to the gods and goddesses according to the great grandfather of the west and according to the great grandather of the north, plants of the earth are burned for this purpose i.e. Sage, tobacco etc.

What your friends might be seeing is ectoplasm- a thin smoky appearing spirit essence. Having a spirit that near to you can mean several things. 1) you are blessed with strong protection and long life, 2) you are being given reassurrance during troubled times or 3) your life may be cut short. I pray for you that it is one of the first two (and believe truly that it is) but as a responsible, loving Shaman, I feel you should know everything to protect yourself from harm. Don't let fear take over your life- just be more careful. Make wise decisions regarding your physical welfare.

Its early: Commanche.

People whom are close in our energy field can also see activity we produce as well as see what we see. I've had this occure a few times to verify this through the years.

undefinedperspective88, for myself I went to the source, my dad's side of American Indian-Shoshone/Commanchie believe we are smoke.
I've see it around people and it sort of misty around people's bodies. It has to do with the mental body. Yes,"you are correct"!
I saw this come out of myself this morning, but it moved to the right where the smoke was emphasized. It may also appear this way to NA due to the way they believe in spirit and interact with it. It is different from the metaphysical community.

Heh, there's always something new and incredible to see. Perhaps in past lives you studied these arts and your Spirit or Higher Self puts them into practice even now.

I have heard of this before though never spoken or written to someone who can do it. Do not question, but instead ask for a dream or vision in which you can learn more.

when you say smoke do you mean something visible like actual smoke or do you mean a wavering energetic effect? Auras pulsate and change shape and color by the second. Auric "fingers" extend and contract. I think of them like anemones. They can also cause the energy beyond the aura to appear to waver like heat shimmering off a desert highway.
