I Can See Auras... But Without Colors?

Honestly, I don't remember exactly when I started to see these translucent lights around people's body and non-living things.

Probably somewhere around age 9. I remember reading that book about reading auras and started trying to sense a person's personality, and it worked kind of effortlessly. And for your info, I didn't really read the whole book and just looking at the pictures in it.

I could never ever see any colors to it. Only translucent. Not transparent, not thick white.

The sizes are different. Some are so thin and some others are thicker, but most of them are just the average size. Medium size.

In the beginning I thought this is a normal thing, like some kind of light's reflection to stuff, or something like that which I don't know yet at the time.

Until this year (age 14) I finally asked my classmates if they could see those lights, and they said that they can't. But I'm not really convinced... So I'll try to ask more people for now.

Another story, when I was a child I sometimes experience this "3 seconds of blindness". Okay actually I made up that name, 'cause I don't know what to name it.

The point is; I'm not sleepy, I'm not daydreaming and is in the middle of concentrating doing something; but all of a sudden after I blinked, I can't see anything but darkness all around me. It's only for awhile, and when I blinked again it returned to normal vision.

I thought it's just the lights that went off or something, but no one, not even the teacher noticed anything about that.

And I'm pretty sure I don't have a second personality (MPD/DID), somebody around me would've realized if I do have one.

I never ever misuse any drugs. (in fact I'm scared to even use healthy drugs for when I'm ill)

Additional story, I recently gain this new experience. I, who usually don't have any luck AT ALL, can guess roughly of what could happen in the very near future.

I don't really remember anything that clearly, but for some recent example:

I was chatting in a group on -----. We're only 4 people in total (including me), and 2 peoples in this group are dating with each other. In a complicated way. So the guy likes the girl to the point of going crazy over her, but then I've chatted with the girl and she's not really in love with that guy as much as she love the other guy in our group.

So that night we chatted for some minutes, and then I need to go somewhere with mom. This other guy that girl is deeply in love with is also going to sleep, and only two of them left. But, BEFORE they really did, I made the girl curious of what I'm about to say before I go. (because I only typed it halfway and can't manage to finish it)

What I'm about to say is actually about how I feel like something is going to happen to her as soon as everyone else left.

I told her that maybe he's going to phone-rape her, or video-call her, or maybe plan to sext (sex through text/SMS) her or something; but the point is that I sense that he's going to mate her somehow.

I thought that I'm wrong and just told her clearly about it... Unexpectedly, she actually told me that he almost call her. (but she rejected it with a few reasons, I don't know what it is) THEN, I remember him talking about video-calling topic for a few times; which is kind of unusual for him who usually changes topic in just a few minutes.

Maybe I'm lucky, maybe I'm just a talented detective. I don't really know.

Actually there's more, I just couldn't remember...

That temporary blindness rarely happened to me anymore until today, but I could still see those translucent auras. Right this second.

I'm just curious to know what this is and what it means, and would like to know more about it if anyone knows. Just give me a comment and I'm sure I'll read it.

I've had the same experience my entire life, except I never had a book. One night I was just laying in bed in total darkness; I had the urge to scratch my face because it had decided to itch when I noticed a faint glow around my hand and forearm, not clear, not white, but transluscent. I've been trying, on and off through the years, to see the colors of their auras (I say on and off because they're so prominent in my life I forget they're even there, then I remember "Oh yeah, that's a thing, but why can't I see colors?" Then I would try to see the colors again).

And for the "3 seconds of blindness" it doesn't happen often; but when it does, it's not black for me. Instead it's the brightest white you can imagine. It started out as solid white. Then, slowly over the years, it would be *flash* *flash* - spirit world (middle world, the spirit reflection of our world, from then I could stay for three seconds, or see a spirit guide or animal totem and see what I needed to see in the three seconds I was there. Usually a facial expression or a gesture of significance) - *flash* *flash* physical world.

I have moderately strong claircognizant and clairaudient skills, though I'm sure you may just have claircognizance.

me to I can see auras but I don't know if they really are auras because when I look at a person I can see a layer that looks like hot air. (like the once coming out of a pot with boiling water) and its visibility is diff. From person to person...

Whoa never thought there won't be any email notifs. Tsk tsk.
I've tried EK & TK for awhile now, and I could finally see black lines around the Psi Wheel and dark-blue to black color on my hand. It's giving me migraine though.
I could see some colors now! But half is blue & other half is orange. No other colors yet. Often, it turns back to white...

[at] A5: mmm it's like lines around ppls body. And I could only see black shadows passing, not flying lights...
[at] Jeddums: hm,"in tune with both worlds"... Could you explain what you mean?
[at] Lolli: I guess it could change sometimes, but for some people it stays small.

i have the same experiances as you. For example I would be trying to see my aura because I can only see aura colours when I concentrate hard against a plain background and suddenly, when I blink, everywhere there is blackness... Untill I blink again and my surroundings come back. I can't find anything to do with it but its good to know that I'm not alone.

I can't see auras in color either, unless I'm seeing a certain person in a picture. Then I can tell. Usually though, in person I can just feel their emotions, thougts, and intentions.
Also I can sense the future or See it depending on what's happening. Sometimes I think things a little while before they happen. You must be psychic. I don't know a lot of fancy names to tell the truth so you may be something else too. If the translucence is by itself, you could be seeing spirits. If they're lines, you might be looking at a sort of graph in this dimention. Everything is on it, and I've seen it as long as I can remember.

I have had a similar experience with the losing sight for a minuite and I believe that its due to the fact that the both of us are very in tune with both worlds. Also, I have seen auras at times but only when they are feeling a strong emotion or I'm focusing on them.

It may be energy fields and not an aura neccasirly.
Does the size of the white light change on a person, or does it always stay the same? If it changes, it could be their energy level, not personality.

Hmm as for seeing aruas without colors, I would just have to say either your ability hasnt fully developed or maybe your slightly colored blind, but never the less time will tell.
