My Visions

I'm 14 and I think I'm having visions. I had my first intense vision maybe three years ago. I was laying in bed, in an awake-asleep state, when suddenly my TV made two tapping noises, as if someone had tapped on it. As soon as the tapping was done, my eyes snapped shut and I couldn't open them. Within seconds, I began to see something in my mind.

I was standing in my living room at night, and my dog was right in front of me. It was so real I could feel the carpet underneath my feet. I heard my sister in what sounded like my kitchen scream "YOU'RE MEAN!" except it sounded like she was sobbing and in pain. Something gray was thrown into the next room and my dog ran after it. Then my eyes released and I was panting wildly. My TV made the two noises again and my eyes snapped shut again except weaker. It looked like my previous vision was going to repeat itself, but I was able to open my eyes and resist the vision. I almost began to cry, and I was praying for that to never happen again.

I had random dreams every now and then that seemed to be clairvoyant, but nothing as intense as my first vision. Thursday night, however, I had my second and latest intense vision. I was laying in bed at 11:30 and I fell asleep. Immediately after falling asleep I began having dreams where I was being attacked by a shadow, but I cannot remember my exact dreams. I am almost positive that I had more than one, which is very weird as you'll see later. After waking up from my last "attack" dream, I was unable to open my eyes, and I had the feeling that I was falling. I got out of bed and was walking blindly around my room, praying to God that my eyes would open. Through my closed eyes I saw what looked like a spiral staircase in the pitch darkness, but then my eyes began to open. When I looked at the clock, it was midnight exactly (no lie, I swear), which makes the fact that I know I had more than one odd because it takes a while for the brain to enter the dreaming state.

I have a very strong feeling that my vision wasn't over, and that maybe God heard my prayers and stopped it. My family has a history of psychic abilities, with my Nana being a very successful psychic who used to work with the police. I have no idea what's going on with me, if I'm crazy or whatever, and I really want to know if anyone else is going through this or went through this.

Thank you

In visions I have been attacked by a shadow.
Maybe it was the same one as yours, maybe not. Whatever the case may be, I feel it's a link to my past. At first visions came to me mostly at night or at school.
During school hours I would feel sick afterwards and have to literally fight myself from running from something uncontrolable. I wanted to fight what I saw. In bed I would come out of it sweating and on several occasions I cried and trembled, afraid of myself.
To date I'm not positive what it is, but somebody is sending me stuff and it's usually bad.
Countless times I have decended the spiral staircase. It was solid gray stone. At some times, voices came from the top or bottom. They whispered so I couldn't always hear.
I had a falling dream once, when a man was there. He tried to kill me and the others I was with by hurling us twords the ground. Either I hit the ground or the floor, but everything went back and the dream switched. I had lost something of great importance and failed at a task.
You started seeing at 14, a year later than it became frequent for me. There must be an importance about this age.
I hope you find this helpful.

hi I'm leyla, I'm 13 and have 'Involuntary visions' I haven't had anything like you, but I can see the future and I have dreams kind of like that, a lot. Its like I can't open my eyes but I'm still seeing things...
I think that you are conscious while your having your visions but sort of dazed... In a trance so maybe that's why you can't open your eyes...
Email me... I'm interested in your vision, leyla101star [at] yahoo.com

Well I haven't had anything that intense, but ever since I can remember, my eyes will randomly like shut off. And everything goes black. I know my eyes are open though. The doctor said it was just blood rushing to my head. I haven't seen much while everything is black though.
