Sensitive Or Psychic?

Definitely psychic my dear... I have experienced all of what you have since I was little as well... Actually, recently I had my grandparents contact me on 2 seperate occasions to relay a message for my mom... Both concerning things I wouldn't have known. It just become normal for me. The hardest one for me to differenciate was the emotions part. It drove me to feel like I was crazy becasue I didn't understand why I would feel fine one moment and then change emotions when I was around one person or get really tired and overwhelmed while in a group... I had to learn to seperate myself and clear myself of other people's emotions. So, what I recommend is to make sure you don't take on other people's emotional baggage because that is possible to do. One thing that has helped me is a breathing excercise which involves inhaling good positive energy and exhaling negetive energy... I would keep doing this until I felt "cleared". It can be a bit scary but know that your gifts can and should be used to help others.:) 😊

You are definatly psychic. Alot what you had stated happened to you in this paragraph has happened to me. I've seen shadows and many ghosts also orbs. I can also feel peoples emotions and sense presences or energy in a room when I walk in. I've also had dreams that have come true and a lot of deja vu. Hi Thistle. I read your story and wanted to tell you that I believe you have three abilities going on at the same time; some stronger than others.

1. A clairvoyant - being able too see future events through dreams and premonitions.
2. An empath or sensitive - being able to sense the emotions and state of mind of others.
3. A medium - being able to see and communicate with spirits.

Its very similar to what happens to me,, I can also sense how people feel and read them, I thought this was something normal,, I thought that it meant that I am a good person and that I care about others, but its obviously not normal, I am not a psicologist and I've never had any training in reading people,etc... Never really thought of it as a special abillity but now I do. 😊

SensitiveMike21: No, I wasn't born around that time. I'm a spring/summer kid. I was born late May.

There also has been another incident that I forgot to mention. In the town I attend college in, it is proclaimed to be one of the most haunted places in America. I was in one of the old plantation houses, doing work for the college. It was around 3am, and it was just myself and three friends. They had all done work in the house before, and all had prior experiences to weird bumps in the night. There is this hallway/closet downstairs that use to be part of the servant quarters. Currently, the first floor has remained the same with all the original furniture and everything, but the second floor has been converted into teachers' offices and meeting rooms. The third floor is completely empty.

Now, everyone had experienced the chills when walking past the server's closet, so I wanted to see this for myself. A friend agreed to walk down with me, but refused to enter the room. As I walked into the room, I noticed that the temperature had dropped. Dramatically. It was like goosebumps were all over my skin. My friend stood at the door, looking around all nervous. On the other side of the hallway was an old chair that use to be the Head Butler's chair back when the house was a plantation. After standing in the room for a few minutes, there was an odd noise. Looking over at the chair, it had been indented in the center as if someone was sitting there. My friend and I both just stare, horrified. Then it moved. It literally moved. The scraping of the legs on the wood floor, chair just moving over to us about two feet. It was enough to make us run and scream.

For the rest of the night, the whole house was alive. Slamming doors, foot steps on the stairs, humming, running on the floor from the third floor that is locked up. Eventually, we just grabbed our stuff and ran from the building. Apparently, it has never been that active before nor has anyone heard so much noise. Our committee has had members stay over night to work on stuff that needed to be completed, and no one has experienced that much.

Is it possible that I may have tapped into something, without meaning to?

Huh. When I had my most recent dream (posted in my only story so far) I awoke thinking the name Abigail as well. I however, thought of this as my unborn daughters name. I saw her as about a 3 year old, not as a woman. 😕 Probably unrelated but still kind of neat.

Hey I just wanted to post to your story, I myself experience similar feelings it seems as if when their is anger or any mood orther then happy in the room my body picks up on it and I've also noticed when someones telling me something I can literally blurt out the rest of their sentence for them as well as when I look into someones eye's its almost like a gateway for my mind to venture through and what you mentioned with the dreams is correct and I really hope its not completely true because some dreams I've had seem very real and didn't turn out good for our civilisation speaking in general of our world.
