Attacked By Something In My Dream

Ever since I was young and from what I can remember I've always had very vivid dreams but have never really talked about them to anyone. Especially if they come true since no one seems to believe me. It seems to be very taboo in my family to believe in things that are paranormal or different from them. Any way long story short, last night when I was sleeping I dreamt I was in my bed in my room and wearing exactly what I had gone to bed in. It was as though I was really awake and hadn't actually gone to bed, even though I had and I knew I had. I was laying on my back just staring up at my ceiling and something was above me, it was male, it was frightening, and I could feel that it was bad and negative and I couldn't move. Then all of a sudden it came right at me and through me. I think I tried to put my hands up to stop it and I screamed. Then I closed my eyes and that is moment I shot up in bed wide awake, just as I am now, gasping for air, heart pounding, freaked out and my whole body was tingly. I don't know what it was, I've tried to block out my dreams for a long time because of the things that have come true in the past after a vivid dream. I just don't know what to think from last nights dream and hope that it doesn't come back. Is this something attacking me that could be dangerous? Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. If you need more details of what this figure looked like I can explain more. For some reason I want to say vampire or evil in the way it looked and felt.

No worries! It's really common amongst the blessed. I've been attacked by "Evil entities" many times in my sleep. I'm not sure why they are there or where they come from but they are drawn to us. It's like they want to get inside you. I know it's absolutely terrifying while it happens. The first thing they do is try to hold you down, both physically and empathicly. Once again I'm not sure why they do this because I have never communicated with one. One thing I know for sure is "They" are scared of you when you are awake! That's why they attack you in your sleep. They know you are unable to defend yourself. They are scared stupid to look you straight in the eyes! At least for me. As a side note my gifts are Nature oriented, combat driven... My purpose is to defend and protect. I've been scared out of my witts twice, and just hid in my mind in terror. This was a mistake. I've confronted these cowards twice now and it's been years since I've been approached. Step one, is don't freak out... I know something insidious is provoking you, but you are terrifying to it. Step two, focus your energy and prepare, this is important! The more you become aware the harder and more concentrated "their" effort will become. Step three, this will be the most difficult thing you will ever do as a psychic I promise you... First you need to use your mind to activate your body. Remeber it's attacking you in between sleep and body, where you dwell to activate your energy. Once you feel you have physical form, pull down the covers, open your eyes and stare that thing right in the eyes... I know it's really horrifying I've done it twice successfully. Stare it down. Your eyes have some kind of strength in them Becuase it will immediately retreat. If its holding you down either by applying force to your sheets or blanket, or pressing down on your chest or shoulders, you need to grab it. Fight back! Yell at it. Send it a message that you are not afraid and you are coming! Some psychics say you shouldn't be angry or violent towards them, I think they are just cowards. Push your mind and body forward and let it know you are not to be messed with. Remeber if you stay there scared and try to wait for "them"or the feeling to pass, who knows what kind of evil they will push into you. I will never forget the faces I have stared into, and you can bet your life they will never forget seeing mine. My name is Nikolaj by the way. If you have any questions or need help let me know. I don't have a strong connection to the "spirit world" however I know "they" are scared of me Big Time! Remember! When you are scared lying down and "they" are there, put up an empathic sheild, swallow your actual terror and look at it. That particular spirirt won't bother you again. Know this. I can also teach you to set up your empathic sheild. I use it to recharge my "battery" and block energies and emotions. I spend a lot of time in areas with huge crowds of people. I don't get overwhelmed.

I have had a few experiences like this before... And they have been quite terrifying. I find the best way to protect myself from it happening again is to protect myself before I go to sleep.

I imagine a shield of energy around my body, which is bright white, full of love, happiness and warm light. I then expand this energy to engulf my whole room, removing any negative energies/entity's ect, I then send it though out the rest of my house, pushing away the darkness, until I imagine the light is so bright its blinding. I personally imagine my house in a bubble of energy - protected and safe.

After this I ask my guides to watch over and protect me 😁 You can also try grounding yourself too.

The worst thing you can do is show fear towards things like this, negative energies feed off our fear.

Good luck with it - Hope this helps:)

I guess I should say I'm not at all religious and I don't think we have a bible in the house. Another thing I should add is about 4-5 years ago at a different place I lived in, I was sleeping and in my dream I was floating above myself and saw myself sleeping. Then I saw something standing in my hallway in between my room and my sons room and then I was spinning out of control and the person from the hall was standing next to my bed and I could see it just staring at me as I was spinning. Like I said I have had strange things happen to me as long as I can remember

Let me tell you a secret. People like us, those with some sort of special power or gift get tested at some point in there lives. When we are low or bad things are happening around us, we draw things in that are negative in nature. Negative things like you encountered in your dream.

It can be overwhelming when you have no one to look to, as I know from personal experience. But you have to try to find a light in your life and use that to give you strength against the things that want to scare you. Their main goal is to keep you from becoming the person you could be.

I keep things like that away by doing things like keeping a bible nearby, praying, and even using a stone that captures bad dreams under my pillow. Look for something that works for you but most of all never give up hope. I know that sounded sappy but it's true. Just know that if you don't let them, they can't hurt you.

I also sleep with a dream catcher behind my head board that has a crystal in the middle of it and turquoise beads. Some of my ancestry is that of the mohawk iroquois

To be honest I have never really been very religious. I did go to church when I was younger (Church of the Brethren), but we switched to a different church later on and it was way to "in your face" religion. I do believe there is something greater out there then us but not sure what it is. I do live in a duplex that was once military housing back during world war II and there have been reports all around the neighborhood of demon like creatures that roam around at night. Most of the people in the neighborhood will not talk about them because they believe if you ignore them and do not speak of them then they aren't really there. I really don't know what happened the other night. I have been sleeping in my room and nothing else has happened. When I woke up the other night though, after it attacked me, I did feel the tingling sensation all over as I did in the dream.

I had a very similar experience once. I was staying alone in a hotel and my friends came over to pick me up and take me to dinner. Before they arrived, I had this weird uncomfortable feeling that something just wasn't right. When my friends came in the room, they were smiling but as they came further in they stopped and looked around and said "Something feels weird about this place." I said I agreed and while we were driving to the restaurant we joked about our feelings. When I arrived back at the hotel after dinner I was in a great mood, but as soon as I walked in the door I felt an eerie sense of fear. I went to sleep anxious. I woke up at about 4am and the sense of dread had reached a peak. The hairs on my body were raised and I had that feeling of being watched or hunted. I somehow knew that something was in the corner of the room. I looked over there despite my fear and saw not necessarily a figure, but a complete absence of light. It was like a crouching darkness - the room was pitch black (because it was the winter in Montana and the shades were drawn) and yet somehow this spot was dense and dark. I was fixated on this spot when it started to materialize into the shape of a being - it sort of looked like a crouching human. Sort of. Then it "opened its eyes" and smirked (that's the only way I know how to describe it) and it moved across the room, jumped on the bed next to me, then jumped on my chest and started digging at my chest. I woke up a second later in a panic. Something felt terribly wrong. I turned on the light and there were scratches on my chest. I looked around but the thing was no where to be seen. Then I looked in the mirror and the me in the mirror was not me. Something was just off. I called my friend who is very Christian and a very good human being who I trust. While I was talking to him the phone cut out. He called me again and the phone cut out. After his cell phone didn't work, mine died (though I had just charged it) and his LANDLINE cut out, I finally was able to hear him say he was on his way (at 5am). When he arrived I told him the whole story. He asked if he could say a prayer. I said yes. He prayed, and while he was praying I felt like I was choking on something. I blacked out. My friend told me that while he was praying I had clutched my throat, and passed out on the floor. When I came to, I was gasping for breath as if I had been submerged, and I felt an immediate sense of relief and hope and happiness. I cried hysterically for a few minutes. Then my friend went home and everything was okay. I don't know if this helps, but maybe prayer will work for you.

Honey before you go to sleep do you even say prayers? What is your religious background? This may help in warding off nightmares.

It looked like a human being, it had black hair and it was just floating above me. At first I was confused by it then fascinated for a split second, then I felt threatened and the need to defend myself. And that's when it came at me fast and in a blur and seemed angry. Oh and when I first noticed it it was smiling, a soft smile and the smile changed to a smirk and its mouth was wide open when it came down.

From what I read, I think I might be able to give you some advice, but I would need a more detailed description of what the creature was. Even seemingly minor details make a difference. It would also help me if you were to describe the emotions it was bringing out of you, what feelings it gave you other than fear. Did you feel dread, sadness, aggression? Telling me this will help as well.
