I'm a medium in training. I can see (energy waves kinda) in the air and the shape of them and when I close my eye I see where I felt them like a light spot. Idk. Haha. I had just moved. But I had a dream where I think I met my spirit guide, He was old and had a long beard and was wearing an old looking cloak. I don't remember much but I remember looking in his eyes and his eyes were unnaturally blue! I don't remember him talking but it looked like (through his eyes) he was trying to tell me something, important? And I get another bit of him with a book and his eyes turned all white even his pupils completely white. He had a very old, very old book. And around him was a whirling of blue and purple light (energy). I awoke from something holding my shoulder up and dropping (happens often) Weird thing is now at night I see blue and purple in the dark its weird. And I'm scared all the time now?:/ I hope it wasn't something evil and I haven't seen him since. But to this day I still remember his eyes and the color and how weird it all seemed like it was yesterday. It was quite frightening and I also need help developing my skills much more. I've read people and got some dead on but with others its so much harder. Please can someone help me? Also I was once possessed and it was very scary: (I will post a story about that soon. Has anyone else had an experience where you think you meet your spirit guide but it was very eerie and haven't seem it since? I think whoever my spirit guide is is trying to come through but i'm having trouble in this field of stuff and I would like to develop it more...

It doesn't sound as though you were scared, while the vision was happening, only after when you thought about and wondered. This may not have been any entity or a guide, exactly. The image of the old man, long beard, cloak, book, speaks to me of a mage or sooth-sayer. Could this merely be the manifestation of your own psychic power? For, as you say, you are 'in training'. He is not 'speaking', because you are not 'listening' yet, but you are getting closer, and he was there to remind you of that? My own experiences, first-hand and accounts of others, tell me that many visions are, much like dreams, messages from your higher self or sub-conscious, not always external entities. My perceptions won't always agree with others, though. Everyone learns and grows and interprets things in thier own way, and in their own time.

Maybe you were a trickster in another life and now you're the tricked instead of being the tricker. Also it could be a messagner demon sending you a forewarning of something very unfortunate.

My spirit guide is a woman from the 1800s who lived in my house about 200 years ago. She has never done anything scary or frightening. Although other spirits have. She appears in my mind at least once a week. I think to let me know shes there. When I'm worried or stressed, she appears more, like several times a day. I feel calmer knowing shes there. I actually trust her now. I think she has put images of deceased relatives I loved in my mind, to let me know they are thinking of me. Thats how it feels, anyway. All of these things have felt healing and caring, not scary. So, I think shes a good spirit Hope that helps...

I don't think it was my spirit guide because it shouldnt have scared me that bad. I don't know but I have a feeling he was trying to trick me? I wouldn't know why though. Mabye it has something to do with my pastlife? I'm starting t remeber all of them

I do agree with the input of the previous poster. I suppose answering the questions Rosetta laid out for you would determine this situation:did you just "know" or after it disappeared, went all,"Maybe...that's a spirit guide?".There are lots of entities out there, and if you're psychic enough you could expect you'll attract a a handful. But point is, not all the spirits out there are tolerant enough of us humans to actually guide us.
I suggest also to seek more contact with the spirit mentioned. For the information vital to the questions you're puzzling over right now could only be derived from that "Old Man" spirit.
Just try speaking out to him.Gradually,if he's your Spirit Guide, the contact would ensue until it becomes natural. But if you find out he's another entity...well,that's another story.😐
BTW,while communicating for the first time (because I feel you're not much inclined to these SG stuffs), keep safe and be careful,okay?❤

HOw do you know it was your spirit guide? Did you just assume it was or did you just...know? Spirit guides aren't generally supposed to be "scary" or intimidating in any way. They're there to help you and asssist you in your goals, not scare you and confuse you. Maybe it was an OldOne. They're not as old As Ancients, but still very powerful and very wise and knowledgeable. 😲
