Why I Cannot Read One Person When I Am Able To Read Others

I have always been open to the spirit world and therefore can communicate when I wish to [since I was a child], I can read people when I choose to and also channel healing energy. I have always had a strong connection to my spirituality and gift, it is something which all the women in my family have.

I am confused though, as there is one person who I have never been able to read. I have known him 20 years and cannot read anything correctly. This is confusing for me, as I have been able to read people for as long as I can recall. I can see auras, feel energy and feel emotion, as well as seeing flashes of their personalities, pasts, present and future. Whenever I see him, I cannot see any colours, I cannot sense his emotion and cannot affect his energy. However, I do have vivid dreams involving him which turn out to be true. I can also predict when he will contact me. But yet I cannot read him when he is near me or I touch him.

Does anyone know why this is? I have considered whether he is blocking me, but I doubt it and people have tried before [at spiritual development] and been unable to. I know this is a rather unusual request, but I am interested to know why this has happened as it never has before.

as an empath myself I can't read my mom or little sister at all, and other people have to come to and said that they can read 99% of people but they can't even pick up on my emotions. But I can tell them exactly how they are feeling. I can also distinguish between whose emotions I am feeling, and even go up to them and tell them how they are feeling.

or I heard some time may be other spirits that know you or people that know your power want lagg you they are blocking to you trick you its other big possibility I know about that because I had a similar experience you need do some rituals to purify the environment around you, try to don't talk with people whose don't will understand you about it.

Hmm. You know what? I have to come at you from the other side, meaning that of the side of your friend.
I have a similar issue, save for it is reversed. I have a few friends who are avid readers, and do so sometimes with no actual thought to the act. It is just second nature, right?
There is ONE friend who can not read me. She can clearly see my Aura (well, sort of, it "flips" she says), but nothing beyond that. Lots of "hit and miss" kind of readings go on with ONLY her. And they run WIDE and WILD. Just... Crazy stuff.

It was suggested that perhaps she is reading a separate life (either past or future), and in doing so, the reading MAY be correct.
Now, I do not know the probability of all that, neither do I know if it is possible. But that is what we were told when it came to OUR mis-readings.

You are not able to read that person because the energy field of the waves that your mind release during the reading of any person or contacting any spirit are actually are get cancelled by the energy field produced by the aura of that person. TRY THIS - Before reading him send a very little amount of your energy towards him but in different colours, one of them will be your original energy and it get cancel, some of the energies get reflected but some energies will be act as attractive towards his aura and got stick to his aura then try to read your those energies then you will be able to read him, but for this you must be very sensitive towards enegy and as you have indicated your abilities in you story so I think that you can do it...

Also I'm pretty sure this guy is from Earth.:) L.O.L.! I don't think he is an alien, sprit guide, etc.

Did you ever think that maybe he is unconsciously blocking you? Sometimes people who know that you can read them will get uncomfortable and unintentionally block you from reading them just because they don't quite understand psychics. When my best friend first found out I couldn't read her for 2 months. Then we figuered out that the whole psychic thing was really freaking her out. If it's unintentional he doesn't realize he's doing this.

It makes you realise how sometimes we rely on these abilities, doesn't it? I don't have abilities like yours, but I'm usually able to sense whether I like a person or not, as I get positive or negative feelings from them--except when I don't. This has happened once or twice, where I've received NOTHING from a person--and it makes me feel quite insecure lol ^^"

I know that actually kind of well. Things may also be from earth, but me more then a normal person at the same time.

When I read you story, immediately I got the message that he is not from earth. He is a living guide for you, like a soul mate or something. I don't know how to describe him, but I do know that he is not of this earth (smile).

his spirit guides have put a wall where no one can read him properly. I do that as well when psychics try to read me I just give them false information. I don't like it when people try to read me with out permission but its funny at the same time

Maybe he is not from Earth? Just a thought...:) I've read something in one of Slyvia Browne's book, and she couldn't get a reading from a stranger she met randomly. Turns out he's not from Earth.
