My Mother Is Psychic But Lies To Me

I want to start this post saying how much I love my mother. My mother is very wise, and benevolent. But ever since I was a child I had a feeling that my mother knows more then she tells me. Growing up, I was a very mischievous kid, I would lie a lot to my mother. But she would know when I was lying. I don't know how she could do it. Over the years, I discovered that I could lie to her, by keeping her off track. For example, if she asked if I had brushed my teeth, I would say yes, but I actually meant that I have brushed my teeth YESTERDAY, and not at the time that she was thinking about, and she would believe me. Sometimes I would catch my mother talking to herself, and would ask what she was doing, and she would tell me that she was just sorting something's out in her mind, but when she does that, it reminds me of me when I talk to spirits. Sometimes my mother has intuition about something, and she is always right, more than she should be. One thing that my mother can do, that is really cool, is she can sense when someone is in trouble, even when they are half way around the world. When we were in India, my mother kept dreaming that a friend of hers was in trouble. She sent an email to my aunt in Brazil asking if she was alright, my aunt said she was. But one week later, my aunt sent in email to my mother replying that my aunt decided to check up on that friend and said she was really depressed and was thinking about suicide. My mother also had numerous dreams of my deceased uncle and grandfather. Once she had a dream that she was walking with my dead grandfather and with another man she never met, and they were talking. A couple of days later she met the man in her dream, who said he dreamt the exact same thing with the same words. Even though my mother is outrageously psychic, she says she doesn't believe in that stuff. And when I tried to show her my wind bending skills she said the wind had acted on its own and made me think that I caused it. I sense my mother is hiding something, when I try to talk about these gifts, she just tells me a little of her experiences just to get me satisfied a bit. I always knew my mother is hiding something, whenever I talk about my dreams of the future she tries to change the subject. One thing that makes me confused is why my mother would tell me a few of her experiences if she didn't want me to think too much about it and try out my own powers. I think she is trying to make me ready for something. And she won't talk about it until I am ready. Do any of you guys ever experience this?
