Understanding Another Language? Bad Empath?

I'm trilingual, 2 of the Filipino languages, and English. But somehow I can understand other languages when my mind isn't conscious, and by that I mean like I zoom out of the world because of flashbacks, or imaginations, etc. But when I get back to the real world, it's like part of my brain is still unconscious that I'm able to understand other languages people are speaking. I swear someone talks in a different language and somehow it turns into my main language (Filipino).

Like when I was watching a movie and I zoomed out a little bit and I heard someone speaking in German and it turned into my language, so I was able to understand.

Also when I was at a plane from Hong Kong to Philippines, I zoomed out and when I started to go back to reality, I heard someone speaking my language then turned into Chinese again when I was completely conscious.

I have been researching it and all I saw was just a bunch of ads about "how to"s and nothing else. I was wondering if someone could help me with this because I have no idea what's going on, and maybe give me advices on how to control it other than meditating because I have already been doing that. I am really interested in learning this type of ability. I mean I have never heard anything like this before other than being able to understand animals. I know that this will be an ability (if it is an ability) that I will need somewhere along the future.

Also, another question, is it possible if someone gets hurt you get the same thing too without getting hurt? Like for example someone got hurt like a scar and later, somehow you get the same thing but you just didn't get it by hurting yourself? Because when my sister's friend got hurt in the arms from the nurse (blood test) and left a scar, when I saw it, the next day, it had almost the same scar as she has in the arm. And I didn't even get hit or anything. I don't think its a coincidence because a lot of this has been happening to me lately and this story was just the latest one.

I did it too! It was Hebrew and about me because I am only extra sensitive to myself! One does it most effectively subconsciously and in a trance state. I am working on transcending and becoming even clearer. It's claircognizance. Does anyone know if you can transition from being "i" sensitive to being others extra sensitive.

o have a little ofthisablity bcz when I came to england I didknow any english somehow every time the teacher talk to me I understand without knowing the word befor but only when constrate but now bcz I didn't use it for it actullyand I can't use it anymore

Ive had something completely opposite happen, I'll zone out and then snap out of it and not understand English, or any language I'm hearing. It scared me at first but now I just shake myself out of it and ask people to repeat themselves.

I can do the same things like out of no where I will start speaking latin and have never even learned latin. I can also write in greek which is realy weird.

I have had similar experiences. I have dreams about the future. In my dreams, when there is speaking, I can understand it no matter what language it is. What I mean is, it all sounds like English to me. However, when the dream comes true and I'm actually in the real experience, I realize that the conversations I overheard were in Spanish - which I cannot speak!

For instance, a couple of years ago, I had a dream about a department store where I worked. In the dream, I had customers at my counter who were having a conversation about a friend and a relative. I, the cashier, was only partly listening as I was also trying to ring them up. End of dream. A few months later, the dream really happened. However, the conversation was all in Spanish and I couldn't understand them. Yet, I knew the topic of their conversation because I had heard it in my dream. Weird, huh?

I'm not entirely sure what is happening but this is what I think. When we communicate on the astral planes or the spiritual planes I don't think we use language. I don't think we communicate in human language or words. Instead, I think we communicate through thought and feelings. Thus, when I have psychic dreams in which other languages are being spoken, what I am 'hearing' (and I use the word 'hearing' loosely) are thoughts and feelings which I think my psyche or spirit 'translates' (again using the word 'translates' loosely) into what I can understand. Does that make sense?

the only way to practice (for me) is if I try to zoom out and listen but it doesn't really work for now (hopefully it will). I just need to be unconsious and consious at the same time 😕

Hey there Glen,

It happens from time to time that I have the same experience.
I once dreamt I could talk and understand Latin, without translating it into my mother language. This was in a time, when I had Latin in school. You must know, I was very bad in this language although I had already learned it for 3-4 years.
After I had this dream, my grades improved dramatically in Latin, but nobody understood why (me including), because since then, I never had to learn grammar anymore, as if I already were ahead 2 years.

It also appears that I often don't understand my own language, when I watch Tv. I just hear the texts, that are spoken as if they were another language and then suddenly I realzie it's German and I can understand it again.

So I'm curious too, about this ability, but sadly I really don't know how to control it.
But I'm happy that I'm not alone with this.

well I knew it was probably in Chinese, well I think Cantonese because that's what my brother in-law said that's what most people speak in Hong Kong. And they weren't really talking to me I accidentally eavesdropped a little lol. And the german movie, that part I'm not sure what language but it sounded like German and it had no subtitles.

I can't say exactly what you're experiencing, but I'll share what happens with me to you, for its a little similar.

I dream occasionally in French. Completely fluent French. Now, I took 3 years in High school but, well... I was never fluent. What I think, is in my dream my mind is so at rest that it bring forward memories of the language with ease. Everything I ever heard or remembered comes back so simply, its amazing. I both speak it, and understand others speaking it. A mind at ease thinks very clearly. When I wake up, I'm the same mediocre French speaker that I ever was.

Also, how do you know what they were saying in Chinese was what you heard in your language? Did they translate for you so you know you heard properly? (regarding the Hong Kong flight). Same goes for that German movie. Were you translating properly? (And please tell me there weren't subtitles, I would assume you would of course think in your native language, 😊).
